Jing Chen I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Miami, supported by the College of Arts and Sciences Convergence Research Groups project. My primary research interest is mathematical biology, specifically in the areas of differential equations, dynamical systems and their applications to ecology and epidemiology. Before this, I received my Ph. D. in Mathematics from the University of Miami, advised by Dr. Shigui Ruan in 2015. I received the departmental Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award for 2014-2015. Prior to pursuit of my Ph. D., I received my B.S. in Pure Mathematics from School of Mathematics Sciences, Nankai University in Tianjin, China. |
