Save the Toad: Mr. Toad's Wild Ride has been a tradition at Walt Disney World since the Magic Kingdom opened in 1971. Now Disney is considering demolishing the ride to make room for a Winnie-the-Pooh attraction. That has drawn protests from those who love the aging Mr. Toad, warts and all. On Sunday, Mr. Toad supporters will stage a "toad-in" at noon in front of the ride - the second such demonstration this month. For details on the protest and the controversy, see the "Save Mr. Toad's Wild Ride" page on the Web. Maybe Microsoft would agree to sponsor the ride, with the slogan, "Where do you want to go, Toady?"

Seasonal surfing: Christmas97.com is a home page for the holidays, with features such as digital Christmas cards, holiday recipes, an online shopping area and Christmas stories. Parents can fill out a form to have Santa e-mail personalized letters to their children, and kids can learn how Christmas is celebrated in other parts of the world. The site includes sections on Hanukkah and Kwanzaa; tips for staying healthy during the holidays; and astrologists' predictions for the New Year.

Chat

6:30 p.m.: Members of Aerosmith chat with fans and host a trivia quiz, with a grand prize of a trip to Boston to see the band perform on New Year's Eve. AOL. Keyword: AOL Live.
