Well after a week of advertising on just about every online Pokemon community, the VBR is well known everywhere. So it's got itself a big stage. I also managed to get 32 people so this will be my first ever 32 man tournament. Here are the rules for round one.

1. You must construct a team in RBY with trades mode and challenge your opponent under GSC mode.
2. RBY Pokemon only, GSC Pokemon are NOT allowed.
3. GSC moves like Sweet Scent and Present are NOT allowed.
4. Tradebacks like Thunderpunch Alakazam are NOT allowed.
5. Hold items like Leftovers are NOT allowed.
6. Breedable moves like Flail Squirtle are NOT allowed.
7. Sleep clause
8. Evasion ban. Moves that raise evasion are NOT allowed.
9. Counter ban. Counter is NOT allowed.
10. Mewtwo/Mew ban. Mewtwo/Mew are not allowed.

And here are the official pairings for round one.

master luigi vs Nipochi
DeadZone vs SelViod
Ace Leader Zero vs jet_blow
GGFan vs madpsyco535
Basics vs SouliosX
JMC vs Clown Master
EvilJoker vs Pawn Aman
SK-Slob-Killa vs SK-Kris
BC Killer vs Team Aqua Mod JJ
Icecap vs Super M
CHAOSvsORDER vs Team Aqua Admin Cloud
E4 Inferno Demon vs MythTrainer YokoDan
Odd vs Holyknight
Naas vs Bugsy23
Aqua Grunt Randy vs TheOneAngle
Masterhand3000 vs Cloggerdude

Tourney starts Thursday but I'm allowing the battlers to battle before then. Deadline is next Wednesday. And by the way, VBR is short for VisionBecomesReality. Since this tourney began as a vision that Jolt came up with three years ago. Now three later, it's a reality. This tourney is also my little vision, a vision of 32 people battling in a new form of online play.

I've decided to post the tourney here, just to give this forum some form of activity and for anyone who is interested, how this tournament will work out.

Update:

master luigi vs Nipochi
DeadZone vs SelViod: SelViod 3-0
Ace Leader Zero vs jet_blow
GGFan vs Team Aqua Admin Cloud: GGFan 4-0
Basics vs SouliosX
JMC vs Clown Master
EvilJoker vs Pawn Aman
SK-Slob-Killa vs SK-Kris: SK-Kris 4-0
BC Killer vs Team Aqua Mod JJ
Icecap vs Super M: Super M 4-0
madpsyco535 vs VandillaX1
E4 Inferno Demon vs MythTrainer YokoDan
Odd vs Holyknight: Holyknight 6-0
Naas vs Bugsy23: Naas by forfeit
Aqua Grunt Randy vs TheOneAngle: AGR by forfeit
Masterhand3000 vs Cloggerdude

Bugsy23 dropped out of the tournament so Naas wins by forfeit unless Naas can find another opponent for him to battle.

TheOneAngle dropped out of the tournament so Naas wins by forfeit unless AGR can find another opponent for him to battle.

SelViot is going on vacation and will miss round two. So whoever faces him in round two will get an automatic win.

madpsyco535, my original opponent, e-mailed me telling me he was experiencing problems with his computer and the chances of us battling went down. So I changed my opponent to Team Aqua Admin Cloud, who was supposed to face CHAOSvsORDER but he showed no signs of life whatsoever so I dropped him out.

madpsyco535 has been now been paired against a sub, VandillaX1.

EvilJoker vs Pawn Aman
SK-Slob-Killa vs SK-Kris: SK-Kris 4-0
BC Killer vs Team Aqua Mod JJ
Icecap vs Super M: Super M 4-0

MythTrainer Yoko Dan used a T-Punch Alakazam in his match with E4 Inferno Demon so unless they find and face each other again E4ID gets the win.
