I decided to try PBS again after not playing it for awhile. My first battle was against a guy named "Giovani". I used my normal team, which is a balance between "fun" and "competition-level" elements.
Raichu vs. Mewtwo
My, what a non-cheap individual Giovani is! Even though he uses Mewtwo, I'm sure he wouldn't go so far as to put Double Team on it... Whoops, nevermind. I fire off a Thunder Wave and then switch.
Alakazam vs. Mewtwo
He DTs all the way, then goes for Amnesia, while I fire off a whole bunch of Kinesis (3 of which hit). Once he's fully powered, he starts with the Psychic, which I Recover without much problem. I start PP wasting with T-Wave, at which point he switches.
Alakazam vs. Zapdos
I switch.
Sandslash vs. Zapdos
Sandslash absorbs a T-Wave, then Swords Dances on the switch.
Sandslash vs. Articuno
I switch.
Starmie vs. Articuno
Articuno scores a CH Ice Beam on the switch (Starmie at 61% HP). I paralyze it (Articuno is FP'ed) and then Recover as he switches.
Starmie vs. Snorlax
I paralyze Snorlax (who is immediately FP'ed) and switch to Exeggutor.
Exeggutor vs. Snorlax
He Amnesias on the switch. I land a Leech Seed, while he Ice Beams... and freezes. x_x My block of ice waits while he proceeds to Amnesia again and then is FP'ed three rounds in a row. Snorlax then Rests (the Leech Seed got him down to 68%), so I switch.
Alakazam vs. Snorlax (SLP)
I Kinesis him while he's asleep and T-Wave when he wakes up. Snorlax starts tries to hit with Ice Beams (Which either miss or are FP'ed) while I Kinesis again and then PP waste with T-Wave. He Rests again when his HP gets down to 55%, so I switch. He does, too.
Sandslash vs. Zapdos
Remembering what happened last time, I Rock Slide...
Sandslash vs. Articuno (PRZ)
...and hit the hapless ice bird, bringing it to 33% HP. Another Slide (did Giovani forget he was paralyzed?) and it goes down. (6-5)
Sandslash vs. Mewtwo (PRZ)
I Swords Dance while he Double Teams. I Earthquake (35%), he's FP'ed. El Cheapo beats a cowardly retreat.
Sandslash vs. Zapdos
Earthquake doesn't hit (obviously). I Rock Slide this time, but he switches again.
Sandslash vs. Chansey
Chansey is at 57%. An Earthquake finishes it. (6-4)
Sandslash vs. Mewtwo (PRZ)
He immmediatlely switches to Zapdos. Did he click the wrong guy before, or is it a bizarre attempt to waste my Earthquake PP?
Sandslash vs. Zapdos
He Drill Pecks me to 75%, I Rock Slide him to 28%. He switches.
Sandslash vs. Snorlax (SLP)
The switch Rock Slide brings him to 64%, and an Earthquake to 7%. To guard against switches, I finish him with Rock Slide. (6-3)
Sandslash vs. Mew
Okay, he's used both Mewtwo and Mew, plus two other legendaries...
He Double Teams, I Earthquake (42%). He Recovers, I miss an Earthquake. He DTs, I miss again, then switch on a DT.
Alakazam vs. Mew
I paralyze him while he DTs again. At this point, I guess the little MewWhore lost the stomach to lose, since he abrubtly quit playing. Despite using four Legendaries, he ended up with:
- Dead Articuno - Dead Chansey - Dead Snorlax - Paralyzed Mew - Mostly dead Zapdos - Mostly dead, paralyzed Mewtwo - A cowardly poor loser complex
On top of that, not a single one of my Pokemon was fainted, and only two of them were even damaged!
Good riddance.

This was an enjoyable battle against Spidey 2002, whose team is very similar to mine.
Raichu vs. Raichu
He switches.
Raichu vs. Rhydon
Rhydon laughs at my incoming Thunder Wave. He doesn't laugh at my Surf. (6-5)
Raichu vs. Exeggutor
I paralyze him and take a Double-Edge (68%), then switch.
Alakazam vs. Exeggutor
He's FP on the switch. I Kinesify him and take another DE (58%). We then trade Recover/DE for a couple turns, and I get in another Kinesis before he switches.
Alakazam vs. Starmie
He switchs right back, ignoring my T-Wave.
Alakazam vs. Exeggutor (PRZ, 69%)
Eggy gets a CH Double-Edge, so I spend a few rounds healing though the DE's, with a Mega Drain thrown in for good measure. Then we have a couple rounds of failed Kinesis matched with full paralyzation, before I finally land a Kinesis... and he a Sleep Powder. I'm now at 64% HP, while he's at 44%. We both switch.
Snorlax vs. Chansey
Chansey puts up a Reflect to absorb my Body Slam (76%). He tries a non-functioning Counter, but it does nothing against my critical hit Body Slam, leaving less than 1% HP. Chansey boils its own egg, but I land a paralyzing Body Slam (28%). Chansey confidently prepares to recover again, only to be blown away by the awesome power of Hyper Beam. (6-4)
Snorlax vs. Raichu
Raichu also has Reflect, which dampens my Earthquake. He T-Waves, and I'm FP twice in a row while he switches.
Snorlax (PRZ) vs. Starmie
I switch.
Raichu vs. Starmie
Raichu is hit by an incoming Ice Beam (41%). He switches.
Raichu vs. Exeggutor (PRZ)
My T-Wave dissipates against the already-paralyzed Eggy. I Body Slam and he Double-Edges, leaving me at 8% and him at 20%. I Body Slam again, hoping for a CH, but he switches.
Raichu vs. Starmie
The aforementioned Body Slam takes Starmie to 77%. I switch.
Alakazam (SLP) vs. Starmie
Alakazam sleeps through a Psychic and two Ice Beams before I pull him out at 11% HP.
Snorlax (PRZ) vs. Starmie
Bravely ignoring the incoming Ice Beam and a Special-dropping Psychic (55%), Snorlax lands a CH Body Slam on Starmie (5%) before I call him back.
Starmie vs. Starmie
Starmie (the evil one) Recovers while Starmie (the good one) switches in; I shoulda left Snorlax out and Hyper Beamed it. Starmie (the evil one) runs away.
Starmie vs. Exeggutor (PRZ)
Once again, I learn that T-Wave is useless on those who already bear the Mark of the PRZ. Fortunately, a chilling Ice Beam puts an end to this embarrassment. (6-3)
Starmie vs. Raichu
I decided to take a risk and paralyze Raichu. Fortunately, the enemy is immediately FP, so Starmie escapes unscathed.
Exeggutor vs. Raichu (PRZ)
Eggy is paralyzed on his way in. On the next turn, Raichu Reflects, is hit with Leech Seed, and vanishes.
Exeggutor (PRZ) vs. Alakazam
Brushing off the incoming Psychic (83%), Kazam boast of his ability to Reflect enemy attacks. Too bad for him he can't Reflect my Sleep Powder. I Leech Seed him, and switch to my samely-afflicted Pokemon.
Alakazam (SLP) vs. Raichu (PRZ)
Unfortunately, Spidey takes the same opportunity to switch.
Exeggutor (PRZ) vs. Raichu (PRZ)
Raichu lands an ineffectual Surf (92%) and retreats.
Exeggutor (PRZ) vs. Alakazam (SLP)
Exeggutor lands two ineffectual Psychics (52%) and retreats.
Alakazam (SLP) vs. Alakazam (SLP)
Alakazam (the other evil one) switches out.
Alakazam (SLP) vs. Starmie
Upon seeing his friend languishing at 11% HP, my brave Raichu rushes in...
Raichu (8%) vs. Starmie
...and heroically takes the crushing Ice Beam. (5-3)
Starmie vs. Starmie
For the third time, I waste a T-Wave on his switch. ¬_¬
Starmie vs. Raichu (PRZ)
Here comes the turning point. Wanting to break the stalemate, and betting that he'll try a Thunderbolt or T-Wave, I switch...
Sandslash vs. Raichu (PRZ)
...correctly! Sandslash bravely Swords Dances in the face of a Surf (41%) and launches a mighty Earthquake...
Sandslash vs. Starmie
...which hits an unintended (but better!) target. A serious mistake by Spidey here. (5-2)
Sandslash vs. Raichu (PRZ)
It's all over but the mopping up. He's one Earthquake.... (5-1)
Sandslash vs. Alakazam (SLP)
And here's another one, just as Alakazam wakes up. (5-0)
This was a very satisfying battle. In retrospect, I realize that I would still would have won if Spidey had left Raichu in, by letting his Starmie finish off Sandslash and then using Exeggutor to put it to sleep.

WhiteCat roxxors my boxxors.
Anyway, that second battle was highly enjoyable to read (especially compared to the first one). And I had completly forgotten how similar r/b/y teams could be until I saw yours (close to mine, I have Chansey instead of Chu and Tauros instead of Lax).

Pardon me for making an assumption here, but I would assume that White Cat would (if he ever wanted to play GSC online) probably use something that WASN'T glitched to holy hell.

It's not that glitched anymore. There are a number of bugs, but just about every single one of them rarely appears, except in certain battles. The only ones that really bug me is the Substitute bug, and the occasional go-first glitch. So stop ass/u/meing stuff.

There are easy and reliable ways to get around a Cursed up Normal type in GSC.
There are not easy and reliable ways to get around a DTed up Mewtwo in RBY, unless you'd like a Haze kamikaze.
It's also easier to interrupt the process of Cursing up than it is to interrupt the process of DTing.

The best counter for a cursing Snorlax, IMHO is a horn-drilling anything. Oh but wait -- people say that's cheap also....

It's fun people still play RBY, because I like RBY more then GSC.
And I should play more PBS. It's still fun, I mean, a few days ago I was battling against some n00b (Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Articuno. LOL). Too bad he ended the battle just before I was about to KO his last pokemon and make my win a 6-0. =/
I may as well go back to the PBS and fight a lot more. =]
