Okay, I downloaded this mIRC thing, but I have no idea how this works! I tried checking all the instructions, but how the heck do I find the chat rooms?!?!?!?

The PBS chat is at sorcery.net Channel #PBSPKmn port 6667, but how do I get there?!

Thanks a lot.

Alrighty... *will attempt to help*
Go to file and options if the option screen hasn't already opened... then enter in the nic you want.... then press OK...

Afer that, the program only has one windowish thingy (>=P) open that's called status.. and there should be a text bar at the bottom where you can enter stuff in... enter in :

/server cookie.sorcery.net 9000

You should begin to connect.. after you've connected, enter in "#PBSpkmn" when the channel.. thingy comes up and push join.. and if the channel thingy doesn't come back up, go back to the status screen's text bar, and enter in:

/join #PBSpkmn

*hopes he helped*

I really appreciate you helping me, but I don't even know how to do the very first thing you said...where is this "file"? I checked on my internet browser and there is no "options" option...heck, I don't even know where to START since I downloaded mIRC(it's the trial version for now).

Sorry for being such an idiot...

Trial Version.. *shrugs*

In any case, mIRC is a completely seperate program to your internet browser... *is assuming you installed it after downloading*... if you didn't, just double click on the file you downloaded, and it should be straight forward installing it... if you've already installed it, it should have a created a folder somewhere called "mirc"... go into the folder and double click on "mirc32".. and it should open up, then you can follow the above instructions.
