Lol. I didn't get past the ads flawing the system. It pretty much sucks right now, but I'm working on it. Hehe, I already signed up for f2s, just like you did Kero, but I gotta wait for tomorrow to edit the site. Later tonight I'll have it done, with lots of banners. :-P ------------------ "The population has forced me into changing my online political affiliation to "fascist"."- JT Toad, on Azure's current group. Holy crap am I tired. But it's here. http://pbspkmn.virtualave.net Note: Address is subject to change. I couldn't figure out how to disable the pop-up ad in cgi, thats one thing Kero's got me on. Just bear with it, minimize it, and wait til tomorrow when I can hopefully get a different server. Other than that everything should be running. This is PBS. Not some imitation. This IS PBS. I'm so excited. If any of you bitches whine to me about bugs like Substitute, or the fact that the rules and bugs pages are down, I swear I'll have your heads. I'm not Blizzard, here. :-P No, but seriously, if there are any problems with the program, can't get it to run, etc, let me know. Just don't pester me with bugs already on the program or useless crap. I didn't get every single file, so I had to do some rearranging. Tell me if I missed anything. Thanks! Props go out to: Blizzard: Duh. For so graciously handing out the code. Caos2: For getting me involved in this, and sending me the code, and helping me along the way this morning. Psycho Monkey (Sirocco): For helping out along the way, and helping me with the life bar. KCryos: He did, uh something. Char: He did something too. Anyone else who I forgot that helped with testing and stuff: Fish, Squeaky, etc... Errors so far: -The life bar is slightly messed up. I'll fix it in the morning. ------------------ "The population has forced me into changing my online political affiliation to "fascist"."- JT Toad, on Azure's current group. Just give the address, the one you gave doesn't work."The page cannot be displayed The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings." "Cannot find server or DNS Error Internet Explorer" There I have never tested PBS (I asked it maaaaaaany times but nooooooo... NOBODY here told me what PBS stood for!) Couple of days ago I checked AH's links... "This is the PBS you may have heard of blah blah, CURRENTLY SHUT DOWN, MAY BE PERMANENTLY" So. What's the address? ------------------ The meaning of life can only be found in death. -Me

Yeah, sorry I haven't told you guys yet. Virtualave caught me and shut me down. The reasons were twofold:1: Not business-related 2: Cgi script could overload server Oh well, I spent all yesterday searching for a server and my search continues today. I've tried several, the code doesn't agree tho. ------------------ "The population has forced me into changing my online political affiliation to "fascist"."- JT Toad, on Azure's current group. Whoa! TeeJay? You found that many servers that were free and granted CGI-BIN access? My hat goes off to you. I was never able to find 'em! quote:
For the record, I will probably use PBS for serious battles and RELLB for fun teams.
Yeah, it's the TM finding thing, isn't it? I really have to expand how much a shop is able to sell. That'll make things easier. That, and I'm gonna make what in the old RE League was called the Azure PokeBox, ie, you choose attacks for your Pokes. Best yet, you create the Pokemon and can store them in reserve. You can have up to 50 Pokemon in memory: 6 in your team, and forty-four alternate Pokemon with different movesets if you wish so many. Want a new Poke up front? Just click it up there like in the RE League instead of having to re-edit two Pokemon to get them to switch. I'm really adding this for RE Leaguers who just started and haven't had access to shops yet. It's not fair that they shouldn't be able to use the RELLB. This does, however, for the player to only use MaxStat battles, and flags the user so that they are barred from official tourneys (it'll do something whenever I get around to making those ). ------------------ Visit Reality's End, the Home Page of Phantasy and the R.E. *Rubs hands at the thought of the visitor counts going thru the roof as well as the amount of good advertising it would give my RPG project*Hmm - I had a thought. I'm running a 3D Pokémon RPG, one that'll hopefully better the PBS. But right now we're still in early stages as we need modellers. Anyway - that has nothing to do with what I was thinking. The site is hosted by Pokemoncrater.com, which is one the biggest site's out there. While we're technically hosted by Pokémon crater I'm sure that we could sub-host the PBS mk2. The site has no pop-ups, near-unlimited band-width, full CGI support, and there's no real limit to the space we can use too, the only thing is that it would need to have one normal size banner near the top of the screen (which shouldn't be too hard to do right?) - oh -and it's very stable - the site itself has never had any trouble. We're currently #200ish on the Pokémon village topsites, and he have a well above average vistor count. (60 regular members and of course random visits too) What do you think? (I'll have to consult the rest of the team that is helping to program the main project at the site, but if we hosted 2 online battle facilities it'd make us a very big name ^_^ ) E-mail me if you like the idea! ^_^ PS - my site is at www.neopokemod.com -but a haxor screwed my computer up it hasn't been updated or modified in over a month! - trust me - the new layout isn't so crap looking! - the actual site is here: seafoam.pokemoncrater.com - but it's got a .com frontage ------------------ "What are you looking at, ya friggin melon farmer?!?" - An unfriendly trout

Yeah, Eaichu, it's already kinda half up. I need a good server so I can seperate actual flaws from server related ones. I know a lot of them are from VA's sucktastic server, but there are a few problems with files not writing for some odd reason, and I'm locking them and everything. *kills server* Anyway, I should be adding what was called in the Old RE League the Azure PokeBox, something I made up for the first Angelfire RELLB that allows you to choose Pokemon and attacks since the old version didn't allow you to lev up Pokes and often attacks like LeechSeed could never be attained by other methods. It should be coming sometime around the weekend. After that, I just have to wait for stupid PokeCute get frickin' back to me about hosting. "Sure, we'll host you, and then after we say that, you'll never hear from us again." Oy.------------------ Visit Reality's End, the Home Page of Phantasy and the R.E.
