He learns every TM,people using him will have the actual max stats(403/298/298/298/298)

He is 3/4ths cheap.

He's a lot easier to kill than Mewtwo, after all no Amnesia. That makes him like a regular Pokemon, almost. Hes got the same total stats as Dragonite, anyway.

... But we should make a limit. Only use Official Mew stats. Seeing as allowing maxed Mews is just like allowing Game Shark, it's really the logical thing to do.

But of course, if we allow Game Shark, I'll be happy to rep for the Tourney with my Spore, Amnesia, Horn Drill, Fissure Electrode.

That's cheating, plain and simple.

Come on, it's COMMON KNOWLEDGE what the official Mew's stats look like. It shouldn't be too hard to spot a cheat.

Though I'm not a part of the forum tournament (and exceptionally pissed that AGNP wasn't invited, but hey, we'd win so who cares?), I'd like to oppose the banning on Mew. Without his "real" stats, he's still a force to be reckoned with but hardly invincible.

There are official Nintendo Mews, and they do have stats.

I think that's all anyone was talking about.

If you say you can only have 278 in each stat..they will put 290 or something...and i am NOT going to go out and see the damage of different mews at what specific stats.

It's too much to deal with,and they are the best swift dancers out there.

Learns every damn move,and can annhilate whatever tank you send out...one swords dance,and explosion.

GONE.

Not to mention it's psychic..and has excellent HP...

PP UPs, I say allow 'em. You're gonna have a tough time detecting PP UP use, and it doesn't make a lot of difference. Besides, i think my whole team only has like 6-8 PPUPs used on it.

But seriously, thinking about no freeze clause? What happens when 1 pokemon freezes whole teams solid? How fair is that? TeeJay lost a battle at a Stadium Tour by freezing 2 of Apophis's Pokemon solid. Not Apophis's fault, but TeeJay was very angry. I don't see how it's fair that people think they should be allowed to just eliminate 2/3 (3on3 play) or 1/3 (6on6 play) of their opponents Pokemon cuz they like Ice Beam. Geez, use some other move.

This is the PP up rules we agreed on:

PP ups ONLY on moves that have 15 base pp or less...so you guys dont get any rediculous 48 pp moves...and the moves that actually require pp ups get them.

Like I mentioned in a different post, the official stats go like this:

HP/A/D/SD/SL
383/288/270/292/278

Every single other person with a legit Mew I've talked with (on agnp) had the above stats... (at L100 with maxed stat exp)

(PS If you want my opinion, Mew is fine with me. The swords dance ones take time to power up like TobyBro and the explosion ones usually means an unfair trade if Mewtwo is banned anyhows. But I do kinda object to max stats Mews as they are impossible to aquire legitmately, but I can see how if you allow it, it's not really worth enforcing it)
