I never really got into the TGC. I mean, I had cards, and collected them at some point, but never actually played.

It's fun, though it's no M:TG, mostly because the mechanics rely on coin flipping.

But it is fun.

I'm in the same boat as mewone. I collected pokemon cards like crazy when I was younger, and now, I hardly play the TCG.

Honestly, the GBA version of the TCG was one of my favorites.

Anyone remember Imakuni.

I strategized around energy removal decks with Dragonair and I believe Psyduck

Shit was rape.

I played the GB version, from what I remember, that was vaguely fun, mostly because the "I get the weird rush from buying a new booster pack" was there, without the "Oh god I just wasted $20 on some fucking cards that I'll never play with and don't care about collecting."

Lately I've been into Dominion as a card game. Look it up if you like euro-games like Catan/Puerto Rico as well as card games.
