I was going to look the name up, but then I forgot.

Just like every time I get a note explaining that the info we have on Mew is wrong, I really feel like some day I'll fix it.

Wow, I'm jealous. When I was upgrading Porygon, I stumbled upon my old war stories and got all misty (no pun intended).

I'm so glad I wrote all that down. I had completely forgotten my six-on-six match where my Koffing took down a Dragonite and an Articuno and in the same match my Psyduck finished off a Mewtwo and a Hypno. All of them had been wounded by my better Pokemon, of course. But still.

Good times.

Although I died a little inside reliving my Snorlax failing to Rest and Koffing nailing his 1/256 chance to miss with a Sludge that would have kilt a Zapdos.

Fuck Zapdos.

The VGC is fun as hell. Kingler and I are gonna do work at Nationals here at the end of June. I ended up taking 2nd to another friend at the Seattle regional. It was a bit surreal since we had road tripped the west coast together to get there. I didn't write a war story since it is a pain to recall 8 or 9 battles over the course of a few hours, but a few of my battles ended up on YouTube of course, if you want to check them out.

I battled some guys in my Pearl game (one person was using HeartGold, don't know what game the other guy was using) and I lost to both of them, but I went easy on them. Thing is, I am glad the games have the feature now that allows the players to use teams at level 100 (or 50) even if they aren't that high up in level.

I have no idea wtf is going on in those videos, and I think I only recognized Gengar and Parasect, but the atmosphere seemed cool.

Pikachu wandering around in the background was a nice touch.

It would seem to me that since the craze is over, it must be tougher to play, since everyone is more likely to be hardcore.

Pretty sure my whole team would be dead moments after their opening animation.
