A lot better than the first movie. Though it is basically just eye-candy, cool special effects and T'n'A in the form of Megan Fox.

I liked the Autobot/Decepticon hand-to-hand fight scenes a lot - it's a welcome departure from all the shooting and wrecking of buildings. It's pretty cool that they use a lot of modern military hardware in the movie - UAV:s, satellite tracking, F-22 Raptors and such.

2 hours of robot fights, half an hour of teenage-hormone fueled college flick. Hell, even the Decepticons got some overt references to bodily functions and sex (the parachute-farting old guy, and Devastator with its twin wrecking-ball scrotum).
