My internet-fu is insufficient to secure me a copy of Taiyo Matsumoto's manga Black & White/Tekkon Kinkreet (first volume is out of print?). On the other hand I'm not willing to skim a bunch of manga nerd forums to learn how nerds steal these days. Plz help.

Some quick research reveals that a group called "Manga-Sketchbook" released Black & White in September, 2004. Some FAQs in their forum indicate that we can find projects done a long time ago on IRC: #Manga-Sketchbook on irc.irchighway.net:6667 (their main channel), or #Manga-Sketchbook on mesra.dal.net:7000 (their back-up channel). However, they don't have any bots, so I'm guessing that you would have to dig through people's fserves.
It also looks like BoxTorrents has a torrent of Manga-Sketchbook's release, but the torrent is dying. You can try it if you feel lucky.

Am currently downloading from a single seeder in Amsterdam whose computer apparently smokes a great deal of hash. At this rate I'll either get it in 33ish days or at the end of the universe, it's too early to say.
But it's better than I was doing before, thanks Land.
