You mean the show? I gave up when I realized the writers had no plan. I like the characters, though. Certainly better than most poop on the teevee.
Did you see Legion of Super Heroes? Doesn't seem to have Bruce Timm. The pilot didn't suck as much as Teen Titans, but I predict it will be bad.
Also the Fantastic Four show is like the worst thing ever.
Also did they ever explain the fucking polar bear?

They do have a plan, but it will take 5 seasons for them to pull everything together.
LOS has a lot of JLU and TT staffers on it.
I dont like it, but the Booster Gold cameo was neat.
Timm is working on the Death of Superman, so hope isnt lost.
Also, are you watching Heroes? Its really really good.

I'm not buyin' it. I saw that Abrahms guy (who I am not all that impressed with) talking about it and he said they had a "Bible", but then a couple sentences later said that they change it all the time, sometimes after reading things on the Internet. Not to start a religious debate or anything, but that ain't right. He's tricking people into writing his show for him. Today's Tom Sawyer.

Well, it might not suck (depending on whether there are more JLU or TT guys, perhaps). But after reading some interviews I began to realize that Timm seems to be the force that prevents things from sucking. It also took me a long time to accept that The Batman was never going to get good...

I really didn't like the first episode, but I think it's getting better. I don't like that the changes are mutations. Not sure what kind of cells give you the ability to warp reality or get Rogue's powers, but whatever.

Also I am liking that Studio 60 show which is on right afterwards, except that the fake comedy show is never the slightest bit funny, which puts a damper on the whole thing.

I'm guessing its just a movie. He barely hinted at it at Comic-Con. He also apoligized for that other Superman movie he had no part in.

Yes, but it's hit and miss. It sort of sucked in the beginning, then got really good for a few seasons. I don't know the numbers exactly, but probably from the middle of the first season till whenever Aaron Sorkin left. Then it sucked for a couple years, until the last year, when they brought in Alan Alda and Jimmy Smits and it was fucking great. And then they cancelled it.

i get physically angry at the TV when i watch Lost. nothing ever fucking happens.
unfortunately I'm still watching every episode of it in hopes that it will quit sucking. in other news, Prison Break is a much more compelling and fast-paced "series racing toward a goal that will inevitably put it out of business".

That's how I felt. My friend had the Season One DVDs and each time an episode ended, you thought you might learn something...and then you didn't. It was such a fuckin' tease.
We were pretty frustrated towards the end, but I kept insisting we watch one more because they'd fucking have to tell us something at some point...
That was enough for me.
Also didn't those Prison Break dudes actually escape? I suppose it would sort of suck if they got away and then there was nothing to do but watch them eat pizza and raise kids.

i feel that. we took out season one in 48 hours -- it was a nonstop weekend of "learn nothing." throughout the whole thing, I kept saying "man, this shit would suck if you had to wait around for an entire week between episodes and put up with holiday breaks only for them to dick you around with their lack-of-direction and twenty subplots bullshit".
surprise! it does suck.
the remarkable thing about Prison Break is that it's actually managed to be more intense this season than it was last. they're out of jail, but they're still very much fucked. the writers introduced this crazy batshit vigilante FBI agent who's the yin to michael's (protagonist) yang. the sideplots get interesting, the shitpiece characters get killed off, and for as predictable as i swear to god this television show should be it surprises me every time i watch it. cinema at its finest.

Also I saw the new The Batman intro the other day and it totally sucks, so I take back what I said about the good intro. The original one was good. The show has always sucked.

(I have never watched Lost, though most of my peers do. I think they all suck and prefer the company of vodka. I will die an alcoholic before my 30th birthday.)

Yeah, that thing went into a nosedive real fast. I stuck around longer than I should have, but didn't see any of last season. Needed more Takei.
Also I saw the Timm Death of Superman movie and didn't hate it, but wasn't all that excited about it. Same goes for The New Frontier, although it had a great opening sequence.
Did not see Green Lantern, Public Enemies, or Wonder Woman, because seriously no one in the world can possibly give two shits about Wonder Woman as a character.
Also Iron Man 2 was OK. The guy still can't direct a fucking action sequence, and the boss fight sucked again, but the dialog and acting make it worth watching. Don Cheadle was pretty much wasted. If they aren't going to give his character anything to do, they might as well save some money just get the first black guy who walks past the studio for the sequel.
Also also all the Avengers crap just slowed the movie down. Samuel L. Jackson didn't get anything fun to say or do, and all those scenes are just obvious groundwork for other movies which will probably not be good. Take all that stuff out and you have a much tighter film.
Fuck any movie full of boring stuff that will allegedly pay off in a future film. I'm told that after watching six hours of total bullshit, there is some payoff in the sixth Star Wars movie. I am not hanging around for that shit.
Did anyone stick around for the end of Lost? I'm glad I never got into it, because I couldn't handle another series finale like that Battlestar Galactica poop.

Green Lantern was ok. GL makes a steel chair, that was neat.
Public Enemies had a stupid ending, but it also had Conroy Batman and Clancy Luthor, so it was good.
Cheadle in the suit was pretty good. Not enough Rourke or SJ's boobs or RDJ being drunk.
I watched every episode of LOST. I was satisfied with the end.
