This place is pretty dead. It's too bad because it was definitely the best Pokemon website back in the day. I'd like to see an Advance/DS revival. [Smile]

We haven't quite finished the RBY stuff yet.
Almosssst there.

If anything, I would like to see at least one site as a repository of pokemon information. We had a lot of sites go down (Necrosaro for a while, meowth, and jman's site).

I don't know how long the K plans to keep this up. I ask for 8 month notice before bringing anything down [Wink]

It's only slightly more work to leave it up than it is to take it down, so it'll be around for a while. I'd take the forum down before the all the real data, and I have no real reason to take down the forum.

Does anyone know if all the Pokémon knowledge on the 'net has been gathered somewhere relatively safe, like say, a FAQ at GameFAQs, or somewhere in archive.org?

Not that future generations will care deeply or anything, but a lot of people put in a lot of work to get this knowledge, and it would be a shame to just see it all slowly trickle away, as abandoned sites go down one after another.

There's a lot of competitive battling information on www.smogon.com for all pokemon generations, but not really any in-game stuff.

I remember once commenting of Smogon.com's super-cute Koffing beanie banner. It's a shame that they got rid of that. [Frown]

And I, too, hope that all of this great Pokemon knowledge is archived somewhere forever. It looks like archive.org stop archiving azureheights.com and www.math.miami.edu/~jam/azure after March 5, 2005. However, I didn't actually look into the archives to see if all of the info was actually in there. Sometimes, archive.org misses a lot of pages.

Also, I don't like the names Smogon or Slugma because they both remind me of Smegma. Okay, I'll leave now.

I put in everything I could find in AH's old posts along with what I found somewhat recently in my RBY stuff guide and that's at GameFAQs. Except for the in-game stuff. I could expand it to include in-game things and whatever else but I don't think I've gotten requests for such.
