You told us earlier that the newer Tamagotchis can interface with each other. Exactly what can they do? Battle, trade items, mate?

Is the interfacing capability reason enough to get the new version? I had a cheap Tamagotchi ripoff back in the day, and it was pretty fun.

I think the local toy store has the newer ones on sale - should I get one? Should I convinve my friends to buy one too, so we can connect them with each other? I'm kinda looking for a new hobby, so...

They connect via WiFi using Bluetooth technology and you can have them play games together, send presents and mate. They run a small version of Windows with its own little kernel called WinTama. I suggest getting one or two, because if it is rainy you can stay inside and play with your friend [Smile]
