I haven't decided what I'm doing yet. I'm a registered Green, and on the one hand, I think it's cool that the Greens have moved away from Nader, who pretty much agrees with the Greens about everything, but has a different emphasis on things. He's not the "Greenest" candidate out there.

On the other hand, it's pretty stupid to dump the only reason you're getting any press. Has anyone seen Camejo on a talk show, like, ever?

Kerry is a spineless pussy (politically speaking), but that makes him more of a shitty candidate than a shitty possible president. He'd pick the right Supreme Court justices (although the stupid-ass Dems still haven't learned to play hard ball, even though the Pubs have been doing that mercilessly for years now), he's got a great record on the environment (my primary issue), and he'd do a lot to improve America's standing in the world.

But, you know, he still sucks.

If the rationale for voting Green is to register unhappiness with the Dems, then splitting the vote between Nader and Camejo seems to make voting for either even more pointless than usual this time.

Since Bush is going to win anyway, maybe voting for Kerry is the appropriate "protest vote".

I dunno. I suppose it's always worth thinking about who you're going to vote for, but all we've really learned this year is that the Democrats are either the stoopidest party in the history of Earth politics or there is some shit going down on a massive scale that none of us are clued in to.

I'm actually starting to lean towards Nader again...I saw this Democrat cock on teevee today explaining why it's vitally important for the Dems to try and prevent Nader from getting on the ballot, using whatever dirty tricks are necessary.

Also Kerry's speeches suck real, real, real bad.

MK could write better speeches.

He's trying to make the (very valid) point that Bush lied about why we went to war in Iraq, and any time you try and nail down his position, he just moves away to another point, which was never mentioned as justification for going to war.

So, what he says is something like "Bush has offered no less than 23 reasons why we went to war in Iraq"...

...so, Bush has 23 reasons to go to war in Iraq? Gee, it must be a terrific idea if there are so many reasons why it's right.

I'm think Kerry deserves to lose so bad that maybe it's not worth letting him think that his line of bullshit even got him close.

Stupid ass Democrats. A fucking sewer rat has more appeal than W. and those ideas still can't seal the deal. Total fucking morons.

As long as they run idiots like Gore and Kerry, I think it's our duty to make them lose big time, just so they stop trying to do this thing that they are doing now which is not like trying to win.

Well, congrats on consolidating the Idiot Vote.

I did some more thinking, and even though I'm looking at things long term, there are some short term considerations...the main one being that W. is no ordinary Republican.

Given that he's so fucking dangerous, I am willing to entertain the idea that getting rid of him by "any means necessary" is not so unreasonable. If Bush were just a regular Republican, my argument to wait out the storm and try to slowly push the Dems into the light would make more sense.

It would be a lot easier if the Dems weren't such hopeless cocks, but given that we're looking at the possibility of US cities getting irrevocably nuked, I suppose accepting a little cockery isn't the worst thing in the world.

I think all of this basically doesn't matter, though. Bush is going to win this time, and his brother will win next time, and eventually the country will be run into the ground and the historians will laugh at us, assuming there will be anyone left to examine history.
