Can those republican retards not realise that going and fighting in a war, seeing the atrocities and the futility of it and then coming back and protesting about it is an awful fucking lot better than sitting on your ass in hicksville while simultaneously not protesting against said war. If that was the case then every drug store owner in Texas should be given an honourary presidentship and be allowed to pick a country to lay waste to.

You seem to be set in mind that the war was just one big atrocity (against who? the baath party?), and completely futile. (besides, of course, unseating a dangerous dictator and assisting millions upon millions of people who would otherwise have no hope) Care to expand a bit?
