Well, you can exercise. If you aren't all about that, just something simple like "low reps, high weight" (high weight being something that will change over time) will work ok.

Steroids also work, but I recommend against them.

Low reps high weight will get you stronger faster, if you want to be the worlds strongest man you do those. Low weight high reps will get you toned faster, which is what you want. That what all those Male models do, except what they consider low weight won't come near your max.

Just remember not to do the same body part two days in a row. Don't do arms and triceps in the same day or your ass and front of your thighs on the same day (get the pattern?)

No such as thing getting muscular in a short period of time. But 1.5 hours 3 x a week *very strenuous* will help. If you're skinny you could get a psuedo six pack by doing 150 crunches every night . If you want it for the ladies most of them love big arms. Lots and lots of curls. Then more. Also eat canned tuna instead of what you were going to eat. twice a day. It's a start!

Dude that sux. I have written some minor pieces of advice for some other game titles and a similar thing would happen to me if I was to publish them. From now on I just write articles on certain aspects of a game. I still thing that if your guide was far superior which chances are it is you should have submitted it.

Lift 85% to 100% of your maximum, 4-6 times every set. Do 3 sets.

Also, I think this will help you put on muscle mass; I don't recommend doing muscle power excersises until you have muscular endurance; otherwise you'll just ruin your body hardcore(read injuries).

Practice.

It's an issue of building up resistance really, you'll be suprised at how short a time period it takes for condoms to feel about as thin as a block of concrete.
