I went to a car show up in concord on Saturday. I was looking for a 95 RX-7 to get, since that has always been my favorite car. So I'm looking at some badass cars. There was only one for sale but it was like 22 stack.
I descided on it while I was looking at all the badass cars like, Skylines and other rare shit. Then I fell in love with the most badass car ever. There was a red 94 Toyota Supra there. It was totally stock which was a good thing and I checked the price and it was selling for 16 stack. I couldn't resist a super rare car for that price. I tried to bring him down even more, I'm usually good at lowering prices but he basically told me to take it for 16 or fuck off.
So I picked it up today and it is the greatest fucking car ever! I'm going to post pictures as soon as I learn how to post pictures on the internet. One of my good friends also has a Supra that has a shitload of custom stuff in it because his dad owns a custom shop, and me and him are going to work on mine next. The first thing we're doing to it is giving it a paintjob. I'm painting is deep sea blue, which is actually dark gray. Then I'm ordering a full tenabe exhaust system in it. I'm not sure, but I'm thinking of getting a high compresion motor in it but I kinda want to wait until I can afford turbo in it.
On further not, I went to court last week and and there were no charges places against me.

Anywho, by the way you were discribing it, it's a NA Supra, right? If it is than that kinda sucks; you could have gotten it for cheaper.
Oh, and for anything an everything about Supra's, go to the Supra Store; they have about everything you will ever desire about Supras and a small forum with great info.
Also, ricer? Pfft... I don't call it that until the bodykit costs more than the car itself, has a huge farter pipe, and has some stupid ass, non-functional, insanly huge wheels.
Besides, Supras are known to compete with the best of the Uber cars out there and win; I think he got that good end of that deal...

Awesome! Congrats, post pics pls.
You're gonna have a shit-ton of fun with that, no doubt.
I would suggest you wait for the turbo as far as performance mods go. If you are still a car guy in a decade, you won't look back and think "I should have gotten those slightly larger wheels, that annoying ass exhaust to wake the dead, and a bigger wing.", but you *might* actually think "Woulda been cool to have a turbo."
Also is "stack" now slang for "grand". I need to know this for when I talk to the youth of the nation. I do not need to sound even older.

Slade: Yes, unfortunatly it is the NA, but I'm not worrying about it since I'm deffinatly going to do a high-compression motor swap. And I don't think I could have gotten such a rare car for any less, and what are the odds that I would come across one again. And that's a good site you gave me, I've actually had it recomended by a couple of people already.
You guys would not believe the looks I get from people driving around, I pass people as they look at me in awe. When I stop at lights, I see people pointing at me in amazement. One of the only problems I have with it right now is the color. I've always had a problem with red cars. Hopefully I can get a nice paintjob to it before I begin to do a lot of work to the body.
At first, I was kinda disappointed that I didn't buy an RX-7 since I'd been looking for one for so long. But when I picked it up and started driving it, I was in total bliss. The interior is great. A cool little feature to it is that the column where the shifter knob is at is slanted towards me a little, so I'm kinda shifting a little bit more sideways, it's a good feeling.
Some people don't understand the meaning of rice nowadays. A ricer is someone in a civic with big rims, a wing, and flowmasters. So you can't really call a guy in a skyline a ricer.
Someone tell me how to put digital camera pictures on this board, I can't figure it out. And yes, stack is slang for grand.

Well, in all fairness, you aren't in a Skyline. Supras were actually sold in the US.
When would you see a car like that again? Well, maybe not in your town, but in general you can usually hit up autotraders and such. I see at least a couple Supras a month, so they aren't *ass* rare.
Don't feel bad about missing out on the RX-7. The Supra is very much in the same category, and has just as loyal a following- plus I don't think then engine is quite the nightmare of the rotary "rebuild-me" Mazda engine.

You know, I think the red is going pretty well for you so far. That custom color promises to be cool, though.

Unfortunately, no. I *want* to turbocharge it, but I'm going to wait until I'm debt free (and have some spare money- I'll be making house payments before I have a turbocharged car, I'm thinking). Going into debt for a car is one thing. Going into *lots* of debt for aftermarket engine parts is something I'll leave for Zem.
On the Supra, isn't a high compression motor not helpful for eventually adding boost?

Of caurse you there are some for sale somewhere in this country. But the only ones even worth looking at are like 300 to 500 miles away, that's the problem I had when I was looking for RX-7's.
A high compression motor is a motor that is can get the maximum effect of your turbo and intake. Unfortunatly, I'm going to wait to do the motor swap until I can afford the Turbo. Running a high compression motor without turbo slowly puts ware on your engine.
After I drove my Supra, I don't even care about RX-7's any more. A toyota is a totally different world than mazda. They're like honda's, they have practically unlimited things you can do to customize it, mazda is pretty strait forward.
I don't race any more, after you almost get caught a couple of times, it scares you to the point where it's not worth it any more. So I'm not going to try to make it superfast by taking a lot of shit out of it, like airconditioning. I'm more into car shows now and I kinda want to make mine more showy than fast.

That's my friend John's Supra. He's the guy who gets all his upgrades from his dad's company, Freeman Car Stereo. Mine's not going to be that Jazzed up but I'm thinking about taking out my back seats and putting a system like that in it. His is on bags which is why it's so low on the gound. I don't like bags so I'm staying away from that.
I'm planning on getting some engine mods, putting the same body kit and exhaust that Freeman has on his, and mabey a different wing. I'm not putting a different wing to be a ricer, but the stock one that's on it now, is REALLY ugly. I'm probably not going to put graphics on the side. But since I'm painting it deap sea blue; which like I said, is actually gray, I'm doing a blue and silver theme to it, mabey some ground effects or something showy.
