Wow. He's definately convinced me!

The only concern I have is mentioned by DarkAurora (although I don't agree with his conclusions), but on the whole it seems a flawless theory, backed up by pretty much everything that has to do with the Matrix.

If this theory is true, I will ejaculate love.

If that theory is true, then how can "Matriculated" on Animatrix be explained? Does that mean that the robots got people to be sympathetic and to fight on their behalf?

In that segment, the "people" convinced that captured "robot" to fight for them (hence the machine saving that girl from another machine). Also at the end, it seemed like that it was lying in wait for more machines to surface, so it could capture and possibly convert more. This reflects the scene at the beginning of the episode where the girl and her monkey-thing waited to lure the robots.

Sorry if my wording might seem a bit awkward. My head hurts from contemplation...

You have to remember, in the movie, people could be telling what they honestly think the truth is, but they were lied to.

For example, Morph tells Neo that babies are grown and used for electricity. We only accept that cause that's what he told Neo, that could just be a lie to cover up "something bigger."

So, if something contradicts something else, maybe someone's lying...

I don't buy the "what we are seeing is robots" kind of thing. Here's why it's stupid: it's like at the end of a movie, they reveal that what you were watching wasn't really happening, it was only a movie!

Seriously, I don't think it would be very clever of them to do this. Plus, his logic fails in a few points technically (if Neo is a machine generating an EMP, why does it kill the other machines but only stun him? Why wouldnt' it hurt everyone else? etc.) I give the chance for this to be the explanation a HUGE fat zero, if for no other reason than the average person being entirely unable to comprehend what was going on- way beyond the minor confusion in the original.
