5 hours ago, my friends and I were driving home when some drunken retard took a turn too wide and smashed into the driver's side headlight of my friend's van, and then drove away quickly. No one was hurt except the poor Party Van. [Frown] We got the license plate number, and after a car chase in the boonies, the driver was caught by police. He's a drunken hick with a criminal record and he'll probably spend about 2 years in jail for driving under the influence and running from the police. I wish drunken hicks with pick-up trucks could be sterilized and banished to their respective hick farms so they could crash into shit on their own damn property.

Sorry for the rant, I needed to vent in a public forum because I am pissed off and also I am a loser. Feel free to comment or ignore.

Yes, luckily, my friend is covered. The Party van should be back on the road in a week or so.

I need so much sleep, the police keep calling my house askng for a description of the driver and being the retard that I am, I didn't get a good look. [Mad] Suuuuuucks.

Why would they need a description if they already caught him?

They only had the license, so they could only find the car and whom it belongs too. They want the description because they want to make sure the drivers match.

I assumed they caught the owner of the car using the car license and need a description of the driver to see if they match. That is the most logical explanation I could think of.

This is pretty much it. If I had seen the driver and could I.D. him, he would get the hit and run charges on top of the DUI charges and the evasion charges, thus lengthening the guy's sentence. However, I didn't, as the guy drove away too quickly. We only just managed to get the license plate number.
