[2003 Nissan 350Z]

Money can't buy happiness, but this is pretty close to a chemical precursor.

Man is this car great. Got it June 28th. Lots of fun.

It does have some real sexy curves.

It's so fucking fun to drive, too... I get to work and I think "Man, I've gotta get outta the car. Fucker."

Six speed manual, real comfortable inside, takes corners real nicely, goes fast... it really does everything except hover.

(for any car nerds, it's the Touring version, and it has all the factory addon (which aren't many) except for the "cargo convenience package" and the DVD navigation system, which is like two large)

Interesting story about DeLoreans:

A friend of my cousin always wanted one. He just loved them up and down. So he saved, and looked around. Finally, he found one, and bought it.

Unfortunately, he was able to find no one to insure it at all- so he can't actually drive it legally. So he lets it sit in his garage (I'd drive it and damn the man, if I felt that passionate about it).

I'm sure *someone* would insure him, they just might want way, way too much.

The cars have a host of problems, not starting being the big one.

However, you have to respect any car whose design points included "able to run drugs pretty well".

Anyway, http://www.delorean.org/dmc12.asp seems to have some neat pictures of the interior, which I have always been curious about.

Of course, DeLoreans look a lot faster than they are, which is a shame, because they are neat. Anything with the trunk in the front tends to win.... Porches, VW bugs, etc.

Okay, my vehicle is naturally aspirated. There are no good new turbo vehicles that I really wanted (the only contenders are the STi and the Evo, and I didn't really want to go with either).

Greddy's TT is probably not out yet. I don't know. There are forced induction kits on the market, and they'll run me about 6 grand and void my warranty. I won't be considering any of those until I have zero credit card debt, and the equivalent of money in the bank (I still have some credit card debt from when I wasn't working) and am convinced the car has no expensive flaws waiting to happen. Plus, the car is fucking fast right now, so no real rush.

The air intake is on the drivers side (on the right with the hood open) of center, and for FI I don't think it changes. You don't need a hood scoop, I'm pretty sure, and if you do, they would just widen the existing intake or something.

You need more speed holes.

As far as the ice and snow....

Yea, that's gonna really blow. My options are:

(1)- Keep my old car that I'm currently looknig at selling. Insurance + payments come to about 200 or so a month.

(2)- Sell old car, buy snow tires, pray for the best.

(3)- Sell old car, buy early 90s era SUV for three grand or so, drive it in winter.

Badass car dude. Personally I would have gone with the STi, but that's just me. But that's a great choise man. I'm actually saving to get an STi, I'll probably get a siver one, blue makes them look kinda cheezy. But that is the shit, congratulations man/

I heard that they are out.

The RX-8 has a bigger engine than the RX-7, but it is slower.

How?

Well, the fans are ticked about it, just as the 300ZX fans were ticked about the 350Z: no turbocharger.

I considered a used, tricked out RX-7, actually, but decided against it- I'll probably have my car for a real long time, it'll be nice having been the only owner. It's just kinda how I am about things, I dunno.
