Personally, I thought it quite boring to read the last "Music" thread, with it mostly being lists of bands. And because I don't really classify the music I listen to by specific bands or artists, I decided to make a topic about specific songs that are your favorites. And try to keep it down to about five, or else its just boring and no one's gonna read your list. Here are my favorite songs ever, in order:

1. "Brown-eyed Girl," Van Morrison
2. "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring," written by Johann Sebastian Bach, orchestration and derivative melody by Carl Marsh
3. "Piano Man," Billy Joel
4. "Pure Shores," All Saints
5. (Tie) "Nightswimming," R.E.M., and "Drag Queens of Memphis," Sponge.

3. System of a Down - P.L.U.C.K.

I'm not gonna pretend like I read the thread, but my 5 favorite tracks are the first 5 off "Bible of Dreams" by Juno Reactor.
By the way, Blade, I had a friend who played bass in my band, and he loved Flea more than any of you (or me) do, He could play the Chili's version of that song at 4x speed. To the uneducated ear, it sounded like rhythmic noise. But, really . . .
It was ridiculous . . .

Beer for My Horses - Toby Keith
Grip! - Every Little Thing
That's When I Love You - Phil Vasser
One Day Closer to You - Carolyn Dawn Johnson
I Rack, Iraq, I Roll - Clint Black

That's from my somewhat dated playlist and doesn't reflect my current "kick". At the moment, for example, my playlist is rapidly being taken over by Every Little Thing and Hamasaki Ayumi. Soon enough I suppose I'll drift away from J-pop/rock and back towards American country. Now that's quite the duo, ne?

And it should also be noted that I have generally weird tastes. For example, I keep A Meticulous Analysis of History from Pinky and the Brain on my playlist, as well.

Not one of my top 5 right now. About a month ago would be a different story, however.

Oh what a tough question! I recently just got into smashing pumpkins! Heres my list!

1) Smashing Pumpkins - Zero
2) Nirvana - Frances Farmer Will Have Her Revenge On Seattle
3) Deftones - Around the Fur
4) Johann Pachelbel - Pachelbel Canon In D Major
5) Nirvana - Radio Friendly Unit Shifter and Smashing Pumpkins - Disarm

Overall my Favorite band is Nirvana! Deftones and Smashing Pumpkins are close 2nd.... but I haven't run into a Nirvana song I don't like, which is rare.
