We need an icon that would indicate that the following post is sarcastic. We have sad and happy icons, so why not a sarcastic icon? It would stop people from thinking that the poster is being for real when he is really being sarcastic.

Isn't this guy sarcasm?

is not a topic icon. Sarcasm isn't funny when you tell the people before hand that you are being sarcastic.

People should read the thread and then they could ask themselves if the poster was serious or not, then they could check the icon.

While it is true that cowlix is profoundly stupid, he has a point here. I've actually considered adding a rolleyes-style post icon before, but I haven't really found one I liked.

I have a half-finished prototype I was working on somewhere, but when it didn't look right after a few minutes of tinkering I gave up.

I always thought of [Roll Eyes]

as a "HAHA TOLD YA SO" icon or a "psh, I knew that was gonna happen" icon. Why not just use </sarcasm> at the very very end of your post (like down at the bottom)? That way there is not question about it.
