Anything Industrial. KMFDM, Rammstein (to a lesser extent), NIN. NIN especially. Must listen to Trent Reznor at least once a day.

Become a metalhead. Start with pedophile stuff, like Blind Guardian and Iced Earth. Then slowly move into heavier stuff and download a little '80s Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath and Judas Priest along the way. Finish off by delving into melodic black metal and death metal.

Yeah, don't do this. Also don't listen to rap. Jazz is cool, though. For jazz I would reccommend "Blue Rondo a la Turk" by Dave Brubeck, if you don't already have his famous album Time Out. Also anything by Cannonball Adderly or Joshua Redman, and pretty much everything by Miles Davis.

If you're into jazz, you'll prolly also like the following artists/bands: Tower of Power, Frank Zappa, and the Grateful Dead. Listen to "What is Hip" by Tower of Power (off their self-titled album), pretty much anything off of Hot Rats and Roxy & Elsewhere for Frank Zappa, and listen to "Scarlet Begonias" by the Grateful Dead (off the album Mars Hotel).

If you want more reccomendations like these, just ask.

Or you could get some Bond; I like their version of the 1812 Overture (basically, it's all the good bits with the boring parts cut out to make a good 6 minute song.)

There's way too little trance on this list.

Almost anything by 303infinity, particularly Elixir, Winter Rain, Scent Of A Rose, and Missing Shadow.

Almost anything by The Cynic Project, I recommend Sidewinder, Red Horizon, After The Storm, Cherry Earth, Trance Experience, Trance Generation, Structure and Ocean (both "fast" and "slow").

Anything by Astral Projection. I recommend the CD's "Dancing Galaxy" and "In The Mix".

Anything by Lagoona or Aura - the source of trance.

Uiru: *thumbs up* E-type is a Swede. He's kinda hated by some people here, tho'. Personally, I think some of his songs are good, others are too simple for my taste.
