I'm curios if any of you read any other comics besides manga. There are a lot of good European comics, and probably American too, though I don't consider superhero comics to be that good anymore.

One of my favourite comics is "Valerian & Laureline" by Pierre Christin and Jean-Claude Mezieres. I don't know if there's an English translation, but it's been translated into Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish etc. so it's not unlikely.

It's a really cool scifi comic, with lots of aliens, spaceship etc. The art is wonderful too.

"Gaston" by Franquin (can't remember his first name) is damn funny, I always LMAO when I read it.

Do you like any nonjap comics?

Hm. I think I've only ever seen American or Japanese comics, but not European. Never really thought about it 'til now. And will stop thinking about it... now.

The graphic novel David Boring is superb, if a little short.

I used to really like a buncha average comics, like Green Lantern, DareDevil, etc.

But after reading Initial D and Den-Geki Pikachu, I can't go back.

Calvin and Hobbes.
