I am bringing this post back from the dead because this show is very excellent and we have it here now. The one where Brent dances is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

So I've seen almost all of the first 2 seasons. I have a couple more TiVo'd and then I'm done. Are there any more?

There's a two-part Christmas Special that follows up on the second series. Some friends came round my house in late December to watch the second part aka The Last Ever Episode. I can guarantee it blew watching the last episode of Friends out of the water.

It looks like there are only 14 episodes. I've seen all of Season 1 and most of Season 2. I dunno if they're going to show the specials.

I'm watching them on BBC America. I know they're making a Merkin version, but it will most likely suck.

The British version has more freedom, it's more risque. Watch the Merkin episode with Robin Williams guest starring for a small taste of what the show could be.

Just because something is risque doesn't make it funnier.

And to tell you the truth, I've seen some fairly risque stuff on the Merkin version that makes me a little surprised that it's replayed on ABC Family.

But like I said, being riqsue doesn't automatically make it funnier, it opens the door to more freedom for the performers. They don't have to rein themselves in to keep it kid-friendly. And yes, the Merkins do toe the line a lot, but never jump it.
