I picked up a used copy of Killer Instinct Gold for the N64 - I have a new sig already.

I'm just curious - what do you guys think of the games? Are they good, or pieces of utter shit that I should burn at the first possible moment?

It was the first fighter I played with an understandable, logical combo system. I quite liked it.

Orchid was my fave character, with Maya a close second.

The only KI i played was KI gold, and I liked it. I thought it was a little disappointing that the game was 2D (sprites instead of polygons) but I liked it.

There's a really cool bonus level.

The thing about the 64 version is that you really need to turn off the perspective, or else it completely ruins the game as you've got badly-digitized 2D characters fighting on a moving 3D background, as opposed to badly-digitized 2D characters on a 2D background.

LOL, I found it ironic how the opening music (the guitar bit) was used to advertise surfwear over here..

Personally, the game got old real fast.
Although, I did find this really cool code or glinch where the final bosses body changes.

His skin looked all shredded up and stuff.

Bump because this was the last topic on the last page.

And I'm not the one who phantom-bumped the Ugly People topic.
