May 30, 2003 - Nintendo's official Japanese website has recently updated with a few nuggets of information on its upcoming Pokemon Box title for GameCube. In images displayed on the , the company has displayed a first look at the two different ways that consumers can choose to buy the game.
Both options come packed with a brand-new GCN Memory Card 59 for use with the game that is unlike any currently available on the market. Check out the groovy new red and blue dual-colored card in the Poke-sized image below:

[picture located at URL below]

For 2,000 Yen (roughly $17 U.S.), gamers can get the game with the memory card, or for 2,800 Yen ($23 US), they can opt for the game, memory card, and GBA-GCN connector cable. There's no word from Nintendo yet on whether or not we'll see such zany Memory Card antics here in the U.S. when the game ships later this fall, but we'll keep you posted.

Yeah, "Shiny Celebi" on Gamefaqs imported a copy. He said that you get an egg, and he hatched it, but it turned out to be a Swablu...Moveset was not obviously special...He reported that the Japanese version doesn't work with the US (cart) versions, so I'm not exactly rushing out the door to buy this. Bummer.

Edit: here's the link...

From what he said, you seem to get one new egg a day. Meowth346 seems to have already posted a list...(I'm not surprised.) Maybe I'll get it after all.

Suddenly the September 2003 date for the PAL Release doesn't seem bad at all.

I love nintendolover, but only in a strictly platonic sense.
