Depends on the Pokemon you're training. If it's, say, a Pikachu, Meteor falls.

Basically, any special using pokemon, Meteor Falls.

Attack? If you have Sapphire, Mt. Pyre. Gotta love the Shuppet invasion ^______^

Defense? I think Victory Road.

Speed? Erm, I dunno. Ask someone else.

HP? Hope you have patience, that tunnel between Rustboro and Verdanturf. Oh, and...

Break out the Macho Brace. Hope I helped.

If you want Attack and Speed, Route 3 is a good place. The Poochyena give Attack; the Zigzagoon and Wingull give Speed. They're also at a low enough level that a Lv. 5 Pokémon can battle them easily. Actually, if you just want Speed, this is also a good place because there are infinitely more Zigzagoon than Poochyena.

If you want Health, any calm patch of water in town is infested with Marill. They're an evolution so you get 2 HP EV for knocking one out, but their levels range from 5 to something in the 30s so you'll probably have to piggyback with the Exp. Share at first.

Ocean areas are good for S. Def, due to all the Tentacool and occasional Tentacruel.

I've yet to bother looking for good Defence or S. Atk areas.

Make sure you use the Macho Brace. Marills giving 2 EV are sweet; 4 is madness. Only takes 63 Marills to fill HP EV.

For Speed, Route 118 is better. 8) Aside the extremely rare Kecleon, you fight Zigzagoon/Wingull/Electrike for 1 point and Manectric/Linoone for 2 Points. If you have Level 20ish or higher go here. =o

Sp. Atk, we go to that Route ### right before entrance to Fiery Path, above Mauville. =[ Numel gives 1 Point, and it's the only thing there besides an occasional Machop.

Fiery Path for Defense, yo. =P Koffing gives 1 and Torkoal gives 2 Points. Sadly, Slugma is as common as Koffing and Numel is as rare/common as Torkoal, giving 1 Sp. Atk point each. Can't think of a better place for Defense points, though. Could try Lairon or Geodude/Graveler at Victory Road, but I don't think that's as good. =\

There are wild Kecleon? I'd have thought they'd all be invisible. *has four; wut, lol, omg, and rotfl*

That does sound better for Speed, though. [Smile]

Suprisingly, I've found about 10 Kecleon in my Pokedex-filling travels on Route 120 - and Pokefor has them listed at 1% rarity.

Surskit's got the same odds and I haven't found it yet. [Frown]

Attack and Defense are plugged into the damage equation when Normal, Fighting, Poison, Ground, Flying, Bug, Rock, Ghost or Steel moves are used. Special Attack and Special Defense are for Fire, Water, Electric, Grass, Ice, Psychic, Dragon and Dark moves.

For Attack effort, fish with the Super Rod on Route 118 (east of Mauville). It's all Carvanha and Sharpedo.

How did you get it to lvl 78 without already killing things?

And why...?

Simple. You battle wild Pokemon until they faint. [Razz]

For Defense:
~Sandshrew for +1 (The desert near Route 111)
~Clamperl for +1 (Underwater)

Spinda for Special Attack (+1) on Route 113

And for HP:
Rusturf Tunnel has all Whismur (+1)

SpAtt: Numel is better, he shows up more often.

HP: Marril gives 2 EV's and is as common as Whismur.

The problem with that is the occasional trapinch with arena trap can force you to gain unwanted EVs. If I recall correctly you can just keep fishing with a super rod on route 119 and encounter only carvana (unless you happen to be fishing on a feebas tile) which I believe also give +1 to attack.

Another good alternative for Defense EVs is to go Underwater.

Clamperl's fairly common and gives one EV point for Defense.

Andrusus, Carvanha only gives Attack effort, not Defense.
