Since I've been making more Pokemon-related files lately, I decided to make a site to group them all together.

Click click click.

Note that my Pokedexes and R/S Pokemon pictures have been moved to the new site, and are no longer at their old locations.

I'd appreciate some help with the Battle Stat Calculator. I can't seem to find the exact Excel formulas I need to calculate genes with full accuracy (it will occasionally say 30 when it should be 31, or -1 when it should be 0). I've also had a few attack damages fall outside of the predicted range.

I've got a question on the rsperson.txt

I'm new to the personalities/traits/etc...

Could you please tell me how to use that chart? Like if I have a Gentle Pokémon what does that mean? Thanks...

P.S. Is this what you use to make pok΂blocks? I still need to learn how you know who to feed what, etc...

Gentle Pokemon have a 10% Special Defense boost and a 10% Defense reduction. I don't know much about how Pokeblocks work, but I'm guessing "Bitter+ Sour-" means that it likes Bitter and dislikes Sour.

Can someone confirm whether Careful's Pokeblock status should actually be "Dry-" instead of "Spicy-"?

This looks exactly like one-tenth of my archives.

Heck, it's even housed in a folder called "Random Stuff".

The only things I don't have are the A/V clips, and those aren't even welcome around my folder.

About that Careful question, according to the "Official Guide" from Nintendo, it should be "Dry-".

For most of the Natures, Certain Flavors seem to match certain Stats, like Spicy Matches Attack, and so on. Here is how they match up...

Attack = Spicy
Defense = Sour
Special Attack = Dry
Special Defense = Bitter
Speed = Sweet

Basically, the Chart for Stat Changes for each Nature should match the Likes and Dislikes chart, as long as they are lined up correspondingly.

Thought so. I'll update that post-haste.

The relation between stat boosts/reductions and berry likes/dislikes is list on my personalities page. This is what clued me into the likelyhood that the Careful entry was wrong.

What does it mean when you say "like" and "dislike"? Does it only affect a Pokemon's Happiness, or is it other things? I think I heard that attached Berries can have a negative effect on a Pokemon if they're not compatible.

Also, do PokeBlocks give bigger boosts on Contest stats if they're compatible?

Do Pokéblocks affect your stats at all or are they used purely for contest enhancement?

BLAH! NO! ...fine. I'll do it. Just because I can do most of it from memory. Not because everyone's on their knees begging me to do it. (Hey, while you're there...)

Thanks. I've been meaning to do that. I just needed incentive. (I.E, someone yelling at me.) The English version is now replacing the original. Hopefully nobody misses the Jp names. Therefore, the link is the same as in White Cat's post above.

Anyone got a list of all the attacks that affect both opponents, or both opponents and your partner?

I got most of that in that Official Guide. If I can get some free time, I'll type it up and post it.

...Unless someone else beats me to it. [Wink]

*Edit the First*
English is going slow today, so...

Attacks that effect both opponents:
Acid
Air Cutter

Growl
Heat Wave
Hyper Voice
Icy Wind
Leer
Muddy Water
Powder Snow
Razor Leaf
Razor Wind

Spikes
String Shot
Surf
Sweet Scent
Swift
Tail Whip
Twister
Water Spout

*Edit the Second*
Moves that Affect both opponents and your partner:

Selfdestruct
Teeter Dance

*Edit the Third*
Moves that Randomly Target either opponent or your Partner:
Outrage
Petal Dance

Moves that do not have an entry in my Book(course, some of them select other moves, so use that value to find it):

I think that "Air Center" should be "Air Cutter".

DH, there's some mistakes in your English names:

- "Clamor" should be "Uproar"
- "Mud Play" should be "Mud Sport"
- "Toxic Fang" should "Poison Fang"
- "Spout" should be "Water Spout"
- "Build Up" should be "Bulk Up"
- "Water Play" should be "Water Sport"

Oh, and does anyone have a list of which Pokemon learn Frenzy Plant, Hydro Cannon, Blast Burn, and Volt Tackle? Meowth346 still hasn't posted his...

I don't get Meowth346, why does he withhold like 59% of all the good stuff he discovers?

I'm curious, are Frenzy Plant, Hydro Cannon, Blast Burn, and Volt Tackle TMs/Move Tutored/etc... (how do you learn them normally?)

I am looking in my Guide right now, and the Flying Type, 55 Base Attack, 95 Accuracy, 25 PP move that has a high chance for a Critical Hits is called Air Center in it.

LOL.... [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

On the page facing that one is the Contest info for the moves( left-side page is battle data, right-side data is Contest Data), and it lists the Move as Air Cutter.

Nintendo and their typos... [Roll Eyes]

Will be fixed.

Um, White Cat? Maybe it's just me, but when I scroll in the R/S Pokedex, the words that leave the screen can't be recovered by scrolling back. Which means I can't read anything below where the screen starts off, and if I scroll down past that, even the top is blank when I come back. It comes across as being less than comprehensive.

What browser/text editor are you using? It must be a glitch in the program. I remember that if I had my GSC Dex open in Wordpad and used Ctrl+End to jump from the beginning of the document to the end, the stuff from the beginning would stay on the screen until I scrolled up a page and back down.

But there's only one thing that bothers me, Salamence can't learn Belly Drum via breeding, please fix it. [Frown]

Edit: according to RSbot he can't learn it (that's where I got the info. [Wink] ). Damn, my SalacDrumming Salamence doesn't work. :'(

I checked this in detail, and it turns out that Salamence can only get Belly Drum from the Charmander series, which of course isn't in the 202 game. That's probably why RSbot doesn't have it.

I was under the impression that RSbot uses the 386 game, though. Hmm...

Breeding moves in RSBot are supposed to come straight from the ROM. Maybe Fanha made a small mistake in translating them, I don't know.

Show me evidence (where bagon's bred moves are in the ROM) and I will fix it.

When I check the ROM dump I have, it says that Salamence series can't learn Belly Drum. I'm going back into the ROM to see, but I don't know...

After checking the ROM even, I still can't find any evidence of the Salamence series learning Belly Drum. I checked Ruby, so I'll go back and check Sapphire too.

Okay, I found the problem. Bagon's breeding string looks like this:
quote:
38 00 25 00 52 00 EF 00 5D 01 BB 4F
38 00 = Hydro Pump
25 00 = Thrash
52 00 = Dragon Rage
EF 00 = Twister
5D 01 = Dragon Dance

Note: The bytes are flipped, so (for example) Dragon Dance's hex ID is actually 015D (349).

Belly Drum's hex ID is BB, which appears at the end of the string. However, the last two bytes (BB 4F) seem to be some kind of counter (Ralts' is
AB 4F, Anorith's is A8 4F, Lileep's is A6 4F, etc).

I guess that because Meowth346 had it listed, I just assumed that Belly Drum was supposed to be on the list and most significant bit was omitted from the last egg move in each string, not thinking to check the other Pokemon to see if it was the same there.

Thanks to Thomaz for finding this. Are there any other mistakes that I can fix at the same time?

Yup, that's right. Empirical testings showed me Salamence can't get Belly Drum AT ALL.

I tried to breed:
Male Charizard | Belly Drum - Rest - Earthquake - Flamethrower
Female Salamence | Whatever - Whatever - Whatever - Whatever [Razz]

Should Bagon really learn Belly Drum via breeding, the hatchlings should be packing it, apart from Rest and Flamethrower (because of TM compatibility), not to mention the normal level-up moves. But, every single hatchling inherited only Rest and Flamethrower from Zard, which yields to an obvious conclusion. XP

He has a screen name. On AIM it is Meowth346. His ICQ number is 45078721. You could probably contact him through one or the other.

I mentioned it to him and if I recall correctly he said he would look into it after he moved if he remembered.
