What do people think of Pokemon at your school? At my school people think Pokemon is just for five year olds. Of course at first, when the games came out, Pokemon was cool and almost everyone had all the versions... It'll be the same way when Pokemon Advance comes out. Maybe, I'm not sure how many people even have GBAs...

A few people I know still play - it's not actually been condemned as such yet. I'll admit to liking it if anybody asks, but since I have a reputation now for being slightly insane, I suppose it doesn't matter.

In my previous school, most people thought it was for 5-year olds, but they still accepted me playing it. They knew I liked Sailor Moon and built with LEGO too, so they thought it was allright, even though some girl (who btw was the sexiest in that school) kept going on and on about how Sailor Moon was made for kids, while she at the same time stated it was made *only* for 60 year old men who liked to watch girls in short skirts. I told her to stfu and watch an episode, but strangely enough, she didn't listen to me [Wink]

On to the topic, another guy in my class played it to some extent at least, but I was the true pokémaniac. Some of my friends showed interest in it, though, like "Oh, that's Oddish, he's your favorite, isn't he?" and such.

In my current school, I have another guy in my class who also plays it just as much as me. My class consists of 50% geeks, so nobody cares. (I hope none of them are reading this... If that's the case, hey, don't blame me, it's the truth [Wink]

) However, I haven't played it for 4 months now. It feels so boring and meaningless. I hope that'll change when Advance comes out, but all I want, really, is to turn the clock back three years and play that brand new Red again.

If I asked the people at my school if they played pokemon i would have to eat food throug a straw! [Big Grin]

But seriously, two of my class mates told me that they had the red version, and they also used to watch Sailor Moon when it was aired in sweden.
I guess it's just because we're in a science class. Then you're supposed to be a nerd! [Big Grin]

People at my school are like "You liek pokeemon? Pokeemon is so stupido, go play Pikmin or Breath of Fire II."

Yet, about 80 percent of my schoolmates are idiots. [Big Grin]

Eesh, when it was the craze, I was openly into it, but then it faded out quickly and I haven't said a word about it since.

I may not be twatted if i admitted to being so obsessed with pokemon that i have virtually all the games and go on pokemon sites everynight... actually, yeah i would.

The people at my school are idiots, even if you play Nintendo, or had a SNES when you were little, you are slightly outcasted from the Megadrive and Playstation crew, so the less said the better. Besides to stay out of the firing line, I am usually the first one to crack a pokémon joke [Frown]

People can make an insult out of anything. People at school are always saying stuff about the glasses I got at WalMart that apparently had a Nintendo logo on them. Who cares? Of course, I just got out of school today(!!!!!!!!!!!!!), for about 2.5 months.

Most ppl at my school know and I openly admit it. Of course I dont run around proclaming it to every one but I dont care who knows. Most ppl dont really care but some joke around with me. No one is really negative about it though. And im a senior in high school, or was, I just graduated. Yay me!

i dont see why people have a problem with pokemon sayin its a kids game,if the game was always advertised with some mean lookin pokemon like tyranitar it would be more popular but its always advertised by pikachu which i think is why people think its 4 lil kids.i personally think the games are great and its been such a long time since a classic like these games have come to gameboy. [Smile]

My classmates are hypocrites. For reference, they're all stoner-slackers, or stoner-overacheivers, except for me and a few others.

Anyway, they taunt me all the time about Pokemon, going so far to even suggest that I do an Ash Ketchum and get off on my Pokemon (It's Brock that I covet, thank you). They make fun of my obbsession with "Pokeyman" and make jokes, often ones that are too trite and reliant on the sexual connotations that Pokemon has to them to be funny, at random intervals.

About 50% of the kids that do that like the Pokemon Game Boy Games or collected the cards during the same period in which they teased me.

Then again, I'm no better with my cracks about their perversion. I'm just as sick and twisted as they are.
