Does this mode make the game's internal clock speed up or does it still keep accurate time and track of the actual hours played?

Dodrio mode does keep accurate time throughout the game. Tragically, it does so at the expense of the border and colors.

What border? A Super Gameboy style border? No color, meaning you have to play the game in black and white or is it shades of gray? I'm glad it doesn't mess up the time though.

You lose the border (SGB style for Gold/Silver, Game Boy style for Crystal). And it's totally black and white.

Actually it's kind of a sepia colour.

No, it's two bit greyscale.

I'll rephrase that then, when I use it on my Stadium 2 it's a sepia colour by default and not at all a two bit greyscale.

I think you mean:

It's a sepia toned 2 bit greyscale...
Since there's four 'colours' and they are somewhat like sepia - the display is not actually like a sepia image/halftone.

I do believe I stated 'sepia colour' and not claimed that it was like a sepia image/halftone.

Yes, but you said that it was not at all like a 2 bit greyscale...

Oh, this is ridiculous! It's hardly the most important thing in the world... or even on this board... or even this thread.
