Decent enough team in the abbreviated Pokecenter this month.

"Donald Theriault, from Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, likes the trend of Internet Pokemon community folks getting their teams published in the Colosseum, and, frankly, so do we. It's wonderful to see such dedicated Trainers gathering together to talk Pokemon shop, and the excellent team results generally speak for themselves. Some of the members of Donald's team are pretty unusual for the Colosseum, which we also like. Donald uses plenty of excellent combos and good movesets to round out his team."

The team:

Kingdra: Surf, Attract, Ice Beam, Dragonbreath *Leftovers*

Jolteon: Attract, Substitute, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave *Leftovers*

Heracross: Curse, Counter, Megahorn, Earthquake *Leftovers*

Golem: Curse, Earthquake, Explosion, Rock Slide *Pink Bow*

Alakazam: Psychic, Reflect, Recover, Fire Punch *Miracleberry*

Granbull: Roar, Return, Heal Bell, Shadow Ball *Burnt Berry*

"Two of Donald's team members use Attract. One is male, the other female. Donald points out that some might think it unusual to place Attract on a male Kingdra, but Donald has noticed lots of annoying Blissey and Miltank on teams he's encountered, and those always-female Pokemon will respond to Kingdra's Attract. Donald combines the Attract on his female Jolteon with Thunder Wave. If Attract doesn't stop Jolteon's male enemies from attacking, Thunder Wave might paralyze them. When the opponents aren't attacking, Donald uses Substitute, then lets Leftovers replenish Jolteon's HP."

(insert screenshot of Granbull with the moveset as posted here)

"Donald's Granbull holds a Burnt Berry, which, Donald acknowledges, seems a little strange. However, Donald's battling experience tells him that for whatever reason, his Granbull is often frozen solid, so he uses the Burnt Berry to prepare for that eventuality."

To quote MewtwoSama, "discuss".

Question: Why do you think there is only a 1-page Pokecenter in this issue?

Any of us should know the answer to that. They're trying to duck out of all the questions we have for them.

Question 2: If I send in my signature Little Cup Team (Chansey-Scyther-Cubone, plus Gastly, Houndour, and Machop just for the hell of it), what are the odds they'll print it?

The random aspect has nothing to do with it.

Here's one of the reasons why we're asking questions to them:

Of the first 15 teams in the Colosseum, NONE of them were from what they call the "online Pokemon community". (BTW, how come they never tell the addresses to the boards? I know we want to remain secret here, but can't we just ask them to print addresses to other boards, i. e. Pojo?)

But since then, half the teams come from peopole at, or formerly at, this board.

And they never give an explanation.

*reaches into cliche bag*

Discuss.

That's by design. Some of the Pojobies do know about Azure, and if NP posted their address, then the Pojobies who hate Azure would start handing out links like Halloween candy.

The Oddish Hall is in worse enough shape without Ash teams being posted every five minutes. Even though Azure doesn't allow web-based mail, they'd still find a way in.
