Yes, you heard right, SEVERAL Christmas miracles.
1) In under 2 hours of work in the Underground Dungeon, I caught myself a Level 63 Max Stat Ditto.
2) I had a sighting rate of about 1 out of 10 battles for Skarmories. They're supposed to only appear 1 out of 20.
3) I caught the 4th one. Took the first three to figure out exactly how much of a beating they can take.
4) I ran into Entei. Twice. Knocked him down to very very low hp as well. I should be able to catch him given long enough time to throw Ultra Balls at him.
In short, I'm either very lucky or they truly were Christmas Miracles! =)

Discuss if you don't mind the risk of feeling sorry for yourself =)

hehe, a new one just occurred.
5) My Meganium just caught the PokeRus.

The only miracle I can think of is that I beat the Elite Four with a team of Grass type Pokémon

PS it was Jumpluff, Venusaur, Exeggutor, Bellosom, Meganium and Weepinbell (I only got one measly Leaf Stone from that Picniker Girl that gives you them. She can rot in hell).

I beat the Elite Four and Ash with an all-Bug team. It was Venomoth, Scizor, Shuckle, Heracross, Pinsir, Parasect. Maybe I missed someone...NEway, that was fun.

BTW, I ran into a shiny Natu while looking for Smeargle. "Please, dont Teleport, please!"

I used my master ball on it, as the only pokemon I had with me was level 100. I was hatching eggs at the time.

You used a MASTER BALL? On a DUGTRIO? If it was anything else I'd see where you were coming from but I would just let a Dugtrio go if I couldn't catch it regularly...

The Dugtrio was shiny, apparently. Some people feel a shiny Pokemon is worth a Master Ball, especially since there aren't many other Pokemon worth Master Balling (the Legendary Beasys aren't THAT hard to get, and can usually track them down with luck, plus the birds are always in the same spots).
