This is probably the wrong Forum, but how the hell do I get Marowak's damn club?

I've theifed and captured like mad, and none.
Could someone explain again the process in which you go about getting one?

Simple, you just find a wild Cubone/Marowak in the Dark Cave or whatever, until you find one. DOn't be discouraged, it took be like 7 hours to find one. Oh, and did you make sure your Thief isn't holding an item already?

Does it matter if you kill the pokemon with Theif?
Does the one your stealing from have to survive the blow...because I've never actually used Theif.

And how do I know when I've gotten the Thick club?

The thing doesn't have to survive...
You thief, and it'll say 'took Cubone's/Marowak's Thick Club' or something to that affect, so you'll know.
Thief will always take it, if it's there. You just need to run into the Marowak or Cubone holding the item.
