This is semi-useless, but I think I'll make it anyway, needs to be talked about. You know, it sucks how the Gym Leaders always have some freaking way to win, like choosing a Pokémon they're NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE!

Bugsy is the biggest example. You bring out a Fire type, a Flying type or a Rock type, all whom are crushed by Bugsy when they're supposed to beat him. And do you konw why? After Pinsir has been thrown out of the game, out comes SUDOWOODO! I mean what the heck is he doing with a freaking Sudowoodo?! Pidgeot, Aerodactyl and Ninetales fall to Rock Slide, no contest! It's freaking cheap!

It seems NO Gym Leader has even a majority of Pokémon of their type. In Stadium 2 you bring in some Dark types to face Will, only to find he has TWO OUT OF SIX PSYCHICS ONLY! I mean, Mantine? Chansey? Flareon?! What's up with that?!

Ok, I'm done ranting, I'll listen to you guys.

Well, they didn't want the game getting TOO easy, and players getting a free ride JUST by having a Pokemon of the right type.

Stadium is a very complex game, you know...

I mean certain ones are cheap. Like it's no big deal if Whitney brings out a DOnphan, which won't be big a deal, but if she then uses a Mewtwo, that isn't fair. That's what I mean, and I don't mean because it's an 00ber.

I actually think that gym leaders should have a wider variety of pokemon than what their type says. Sudowoodo is actually a good example of how creative the leader can be. If you think about it, Bugsy is supposed to be a bug/grass gym. Sudowoodo is MEANT to resemble those two types, but real trainers are supposed to know how to handle the guy. I think pokestadium2 shows how good and creative you can get with a team by having a ´host type.´

As for Gymn Leader rules, I reckon that you are simply not supposed to have pokemon that could beat your own pokemon. I.E. Will cannot have bug nor dark pokemon, although other pokemon are a fair shot. however, if the pokemon lies within its theme, like sudowoodo to bugsy or dragonite and kingdra to lance (after all, dragon moves are effective against dragon types).

I didn't have much a problem with the Gym leaders on Stadium, they normally always bring pokemon with them for protection against types that are stronger than their theme.
Always expect that.

In your case, use better pokes.
