Okay, so, the place, like I said, is the Goldenrod Basement. You know, where guys give out haircuts and old ladies sell bitter herbs.There's that locked door down there too. At one point in the game, you're allowed inside, and defeat your rival, blah blah blah, and end up having to flip three switches to open-close doors to gain access to a way out. The problem, however, is that I can not reach one of the items behind those doors. I can see the item ball, and I can not get to it. I spent about an hour fiddling with the switches and accomplished nothing. Does anyone know how to reach that item, or even what it is? Thanks. --Rainy the furry blue mock dragon

The item is a Smoke Ball, which allows you to get away from any wild Pokémon battle, but I don't think it's really worth having, when you flee it's really annoying because it says 'You escaped with a smoke ball' every time, and it takes some time, although not a big deal it is annyoing IMO, so it's not worth it.
