What would have happened to RBY strategy if Poison Pokemon were resistant to Psychic?

...or Poison attacks were supereffective vs. Psychic?

Even if so, then Muk's Sludge (most powerful Posion attack in RBY) would still only deal 91% damage maximum...to Jynx, and only 45% maximum to Mewtwo (making it easily Recoverable away)

Hee. I'd like to see a Poison-Dark type... After taking notes on the weakness-resistance charts, I think it's only weakness would be to Ground. I think. If they made something as spiffy-looking as Kingdra, with similarly decent stats, people'd probably use it.

And Dark/Ghost has no weaknesses (except Foresight + Fighting)

Hmmm...forgot Sludge was only 65 Power. Man, did Poison ever get screwed.

How about if Poison types were just not weak to Psychic? Do you think Weezing would be more viable, since it's one of the few guys with Haze?
