(I don't know if this is the correct forum to post this... It's better to post it here than in Karp though... I also have a feeling I've asked this question before but I can't find that post, so maybe I never did ask it... Anyway I was wondering about those AC/DC adapters you can buy for the GBC. It reads, on the back of the GBC, "Input: DC 3V, 300 mA". I have an adapter to charge my MD player, it's exactly the same as a GBC adapter, polarity, voltage output etc, but: On the adapter, it reads "Output: 500 mA". Does this mean that the output will *always** be 500 mA, or that the output is *up to* 500 mA? Would I fry the curcuitry of my GBC if I use this adapter instead of the recommended, ass-expensive one from Nintendo? *sees image of himself plugging GBC into the wall and seeing smoke coming out from the GBC*

It means that the output is 500mA and you don't want to put that into your Gameboy.

No, the Gameboy will only draw 300 mA of power. The power adaptor is fine for any device UP TO 500 mA. It'll be OK.
