When you watch the shorts or the scenes on the TV show where the Pokémon are talking, you really see personalities to those characters.

So I ask who on Ash's team do you like the best? This is not, however, restricted to Ash's current lineup, so you can say your favorite character is someone who left the show.

For me, my favorite is Squirtle. He is never really serious, he is usually way out in left field, he's smart-alecky, and his personality compliments Bulbasaur's (or Charizard's) nicely.

Favorite Squirtle scenes:
Squirtle: (to Charmander, in Squirtle language) Maybe they all got eaten by wild Pokémon (does a chomping motion before Charmander stops him)

Any scene involving Squirtle being squished flat is also funny...

Pidgeot. Sad how Ash didn't come back for it after the Orange League... And if Ash had caught that Fearow, he would have had Pidgeot with him for the Orange and Johto Leagues. Pidgeot would have been good against Venusaur and Dragonite (better than Tauros, perhaps). Then again, he might not have used Tauros, or might even have used Fearow instead. ^_^;

Well, let's see. The fact that Charizard disobeyed Ash during the Indigo League serves as irrefutable proof that Charizard HAD to be over L100. Go catch a Cinnabar Coast Pokemon and watch it disobey, and you'll see that L100+ Pokemon can disobey with the Earthbadge.

Which makes me wonder: WHY DID ASH LET IT GO?????

Except that the laws of the game rarely correspond with the laws of the anime. After all, the anime Pikachu can take down Golems with a single Thunderbolt, but it's gaming counterpart... well, can't.

Chika CHIKA!!

That subtitled Poké-speech episode really did help develop their personalities (Squirtle is confident and wisecracking; Charmander is uncertain and worried; Bulbasaur is cynical and pessimistic). I wish they'd do another one with the new team...

Well, I might not be doing this the right way, but, I personally like Snorlax, even though Ash rarely/never uses his Snorlax. I am a Snorlax fan. I like the way Snorlax eats and sleeps, etc... etc...

I stopped watching the show, has there been another show with AJ and his Sandshrew? I liked them. Although Sandshrew should've probably been a Sandslash, AJ was cool.

If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried.

This is the league that I help run http://pub64.ezboard.com/bparkback Check out the Eternal Abyss for details.

Not yet, but there was recently another with the Magikarp-selling guy, and soon (I hope) there'll be one with Duplica (the Ditto trainer).

I will enjoy seeing AJ again... and watching him beat up on Ash again.

AFAIK, the only guest character that has been in more than one episode is Team Wartortle, the Squirtle Squad, and the Magikarp selling person.

I still like Pokemon-speech episodes. Too bad the only time I can look forward to them are in the shorts, and they don't have Squirtle anymore!

This could easily be a lie, but, I hope it's true.

On another message board, this guy/girl claimed that he/she/whatever went to Japan (on vacation maybe?) and got to go see the animators of Pokémon and that they were working on the Johto League, not so much the league, but the Pokémon Ash would battle, something like that... anyway, I think he said that AJ would be there, but hey, this could "easily" be a lie...
