OMG... someone just sent me this e-mail concerning Celebi... I can't test it, but I get the feeling it's a rumor.

I liked youre FAQ on Pokemon G/S. Maybe I should get to the point eh? I know how to catch Celebi in gold and silver. (Yes without a gameshark).
All right. First you have to get all 250 pokemon. You also need to have six shiny pokemon. You go to either Prof. Oak or Elm. (I don't remember wich). He will say some junk about you being the best pokemon collector in the world. Then he will say that you are missing only 1 pokemon. He will then give a GS ball. Go to the Ilex forest shrine and put the ball in it. A Celebi will apear! I hope this helps you!

yeh there were the same kind of rumors that you could catch mew in R/B/Y, about catching all 150 pokemon then going to the van near SS Anne or somthing like that. I was so stupid to believe this and was so pi#*ed off after collecting all 150, damn these evil people that make these things up.(but i surpose i'm to blame as well believing stupid rumors like that)

The person that sent you that e-mail lies.
------------------ Mew:A mythical Pokemon of South America which had been thought extinct. When viewed through a microscope this Pokemon's short fine delicate hair is seen. So rare it is still said to be a mirage by many experts. A growing number of people have seen it recently. It's DNA is said to contain the genetic codes of all Pokemon, so it can use all kinds of techniques. Apparently, it only appears to those people who are pure of heart and have strong desire to see it. Mew has only been seen in captivity a few times. As a result, Mew is extremely sought after by collectors.
