1) CH's in stadium now ignore status effects, like in RBY

2) Seismic Toss, Heal Bell, Thunder-Wave, Softboiled Blissey is now legal, as moves bred on are able to be relearned if they have been forgotten previously...

3) Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, and Flamethrower are hidden TMs in Stadium, as I saw a Koffing use flamethrower and a Raikou use Thunderbolt and a Suicune use Ice Beam...

I wish they'd hold to one policy on CHs. Heck, I was never even positive that they didn't ignore mods in metallic!

Are those TMs in Stadium or from crystal? I don't actually know...

Why is this your last post, anyway?

Oh, I guess you can't answer

Did you hear what they did to Perish Song? Apparently the song stays even if you faint your opponent's pokemon. The only way to counter it is to switch out. >_<

Hmmm... confused... how exactly does this work? So far i've heard that u can relearn moves that the poke naturally learns, but i seem to remember someone else saying something about moves that u're pokemon knew b4 (such as tms..). But this? The only way i can c this is if u breed a chansey w/ heal bell, delete it, trade to rby, use tms, trade back to gs, beat stadium.. would it then b able to learn heal bell again??

Eeveetrainer: I think that since the new Stadium game is compatible with crystal that there are bound to be some pokes with moves from that game. This doesn't necessrily mean that ice beam, T-bolt & F-thrower are hidden within the game.

I'm not sure how that would work out. I thought it was only a select few natural movez.

Sonofabitch. This "relearning" moves is going to drive me insane. It basically defeats the purpose of breeding and forgetting R/B/Y TMs.

On a happier note, my "Super Clefable" moveset works!

Clefable: Substitute, Belly Drum, Return, Moon Light
>>Leftovers

HP Calculations:

Substitute – 294
Leftovers – 319
Belly Drum – 160
Leftovers – 185

If the opponent switches to Machamp, you've got it made. Clefable is faster and can KO it with one BDed Return. If the opponent is faster, things get a tad sticky.

You all make it sound like there's some guy you can talk to after you finish the gym leader castle....

It's not like that at all, it looks similar to the scene in the original stadium where you win a pokemon. You can only get back moves it learns on its own. Ex. The list for Raichu is extremely short.

Other tidbits:

-Using Defense Curl followed by Rollout makes Rollout do twice the damage.

-You get a Baton Passing Farfetch'd for beating R1. On to R2...

-You will groan when you see what your rival is sporting.

The bonus pokemon for round 1 is a baton Passing Farfetch'd:

Farfetch'd
Attacks: Baton Pass, Swords Dance, Agility, Slash
Item: Gold Berry

Beat Round two gets an Earthquaking Gligar:

Gligar
Attacks: Earthquake, Poison Sting, Counter, Wing Attack
Item: Mysteryberry

I think that Gligar will be pretty popular... another flying ttype to learn a Ground attack... and it gets STAB! (Although it still has crap stats)

Defense Curl + Rollout has always been usable in G/S

Rival...I know Lance is in Gym Leader castle, but Rival? Do you mean Green/Gary/Blue?

Not sure what you mean by auto-recharge. But if Hyper Beam misses, you don't need to recharge in S2. Some people thought that was a glitch in GS, but apparently it was deliberate. Probably because of Protect and other such moves...

No matter what the result in GS and Stadium 1, you'd lose a turn after using Hyper Beam.

Yes, it's quite true. I did it last night, putting Agility back on my Porygon2. Just beat the Elite 5 and you can get the chance. Just make sure of this. Choose the Pokemon right off your cart. DO NOT use the registration thing for the Elite 5. If you use a registered team, it won't let you do the move-back thing.

Couple things to say... Well Dragonit'sJ's Kazam is now possible with a set of

Thunderwave
Encore
Substitute
Psychic
=>>Leftovers

Also I'm sort of interested in the moveset of the "Super Clefable"

Clefable: Substitute, Belly Drum, Return, Moon Light
>>Leftovers

Well, Substitute, and Bellydrum does give soem protection, but the Substitute will break after you make it, and even if you do kill the Machamp, you still have HP probs at you low life, and I don't think Moonlight is enough to recover that, and what if it's the day time?

Just like to say that you cannot learn egg moves using stadium 2. Therefore neither of those movesets r possible, as nice as it would be if they were..

What the hell is problem with Doduo/Dodrio mode?! Doduo is in sepia, and Dodrio is in black and white! And no borders!

Can't the N64 handle triple speed in colour or did Nintendo employ monkeys to code this part of the game?

Hmmm....I still think that clefable has some speed issues when it comes to belly drum, but the kazam set is the most unfortunate loss of the two.
