Why do those Pokemon game guides STILL talk about Rare Candy as a good thing?! And the whole 'tameness' myth about how leaving pokes in boxes makes them sadder...
OR (my major peeve) when they list 'max stats' for each poke, that were OBVIOUSLY calculated using Rare Candies?!

Don't these people do any research at all?!

Yah. Most people who take those guides seriously are wither super-newbies or too young to know the difference. Not that it really, matters, we've got all the info we need on the 'net, so they're not really worth wasting energy on. ^_^

Wandering about in my local Game store, I saw a magazine enititled 'Pojo Pokémon Strategies', or something along those lines. I thought that it would be cool, if a little farfetched, to have an Azurian's guide to Pokemon like OrientalNoodle suggested.

Cuz in newbies views if something gets you to level 100 (even catching missingno pkmn) it is brilliant, as, Lv100 is the best

Oh, and how they talk about breeding only as a way to get the baby pokemon...*grr*

I think the idea of an Azure Guide would really be fantastic! Because sometimes one doesn't have access to a PC to check up on stuff ^^;

Well, it beats when everyone copied a Nintendo guide which rated pokemon's max stats from 1 to 5... Hmm, Lapras and Chansey are both 5 in HP, so they must have similar max HP? TOTALLY USELESS!

And, I'd really like to see how you explain DV's to a 10-year-old... Not that it would be impossible. I think it would be just... hard.
