Gaaah, I've spent three whole days trying to win this thing, but those crappy rentals always fail me. Too bad you can't use M2.

So...

I have no pokémon at L50-55 ('cept for a Buzz and a Trode, Buzz has the standard moveset) so I'm forced to use rentals. Which should I use? All I want to is to get Dodrio Mode, I already walked through Prime Cup with M2 (Teehee...), so Poké Cup R1 Master Ball is all that's left.

I could use rentals, or rare-candy up some monsters to L50.

Either way, please give me some advice. I want dodrio mode bad.

mm, ghosts IMO are always good. I forgot what gengar's moveset is, but if its halfway decent, I'd use him.

Slap together a Starmie with Surf, Psychic, Thunderbolt, and maybe Thunder Wave or Recover or something. Get it to 55, then pick some random rentals. That should do ya fine...just be wary of Exeggutor.

I rare-candied and vitaminised an exact copy of my L100 team, 'cept they all were at L50. It worked wonders. Well, not an excact copy, I swapped M2 for Arcanine (but I never used him) and Poli for a Pocojackass Starmie (surf, t-bolt, t-wave, recover).

I'm now training pokémon at quadruple speed. Now I can finally fulfill my dream and train each one of the final evolutions to L100...
