I haven't posted here in a long time. None of you probably remember me. But I come here from time to time, still. And now I'm posting this topic.
So, what are some of your favorite nicknames for Pokémon?

Here's some of mine:

Wigglytuff: Two of them: Bigwigg and Tuffstuff. Perfect, aren't they?

Zapdos: Ford
Moltres: Pontiac
I'm not gonna get my hopes up, but I wanna know if you remember why I picked those names.

Articuno: Deepfreeze is my fave. I also like Aurora. Frieza's semi-original. (Little tidbit: Articuno's Japanese name, Freezer, is literally the same as Frieza's Japanese name.)

Blastoise: Clud. I always felt that in Blue, my Blastoise was a moron. So I gave him a "stupid" nickname.

Hitmonlee: Vustonba. I went backwards through the alphabet, picking out strings of letters, to form a name. Random, no?

Clefable: Aesop. I don't particularly like this name, because, to put it lightly, Clefable strikes me as more feminine that masculine.

Beedrill: Buzzsaw. It's just cool.

Machamp: Ah-nold.

Vaporeon: Calypso. Named after a member of another board that role-played as a Vap.

Gengar: Deaddude. It sucks, I know.

Slowbro: Einshtein. It just struck me as appropriate.

Butterfree: Monarch.

Rhydon: Scrappydoo. For no reason at all.

Mewtwo: Psicho. Behold, my clever use of word combination!

Hypno: Mesmer. The name of the guy that developed hypnotism.

Gyarados: Shenlong. The dragon god.

No G/S names as of yet, But there will be, soon.

right now I'm into this "give your pokémon nicknames from videogames"-thing, so my Chansey is named Mei Ling. I think I'll name my Vileplume Meryl instead of Spots. And Golem'll be Liquid
