Well, after having cursed NoA's rental recommendations for the Pika Cup for Stadium, I decided to work on my own team. I have since:1) Bred a level 5 Vulpix w/Confuse Ray (maybe Flamethrower was a better bet?) 2) Traded a level 3 Raichu for an Electrode 3) Bred a level 5 Lapras 4) Bred a level 5 Lickitung for a Dugtrio in Yellow 5) Evolved my level 4 Pikachu and given it T-Bolt, T-Wave, Swift, & Reflect and I've stuffed all of them with 10 of each stat booster, giving PP Ups where I thought would be useful. All this work and planning to conquer the Pika Cup, and then Mewtwo, just so that I can get a Surfing Pikachu. What am I going to do with the critter? Why, put Surf, Thunder, Rain Dance and Thunder Wave on it, of course. Now, I ask you...is this overkill, or am I just being resourceful? --DocMui ------------------ To claim mastery is to imply that there is nothing else to learn. A thank you, a thank you... BTW, I finally managed to get Surfing Pikachu after three tries. I hadn't realized the first two times that I 1) couldn't use continues and 2) couldn't use any rentals, so I was a tad peeved. On the third try, I prevailed, thanks to a Grep Mewtwo and Mew. And there was much rejoicing, and feasting upon the--nevermind. --DocMui
