When I was walking through a grass patch at night, I was attacked by a Spearow.

Except, the Spearow was sleeping!?
It was wild, and I had not attacked it yet.

Does this mean that if you encountered a pokemon that only appears during the day, it will be asleep?

AFAIK, It's for only certian Pokemon, I think Spearows and Aipoms.
