How do you find out if a pokemon is happy or not, cause it effects some of the moves IN
the game and thats why they give hair cuts.

Theres is no actual number that will be displayed, but a woman in Goldenrod city will give you an estimate on happyness for the 1st poke on your lineup.

Im sure someone can go into more detail.

See Meowth346's site, http://members.nbci.com/_XMCM/meowth346/gs/Happiness/Happiness.htm. It has an excellent table on happiness points and what comment the girl in Goldenrod will give you. She is sitting at the table in the house to the East of the department store.
