Just Kidding! Anyway...I have a few questions about Smeargle.

1). How can Smeargle leanr ANY attack if Sketch only has 1 PP? I'm assuming you get a Smeargle, Sketch the attack you want on it, breed w/ditto, and the offspring will have the attack you sketched and Sketch. Repeat until you get all of the attacks you want...

2). Where can I find him? I have Silver...is he in silver?

3). Everyone knows that Al Gore didn't create the internet...right? You do know that I created it...?!

Smeargle can learn a sketch at each 10 levels im pretty sure and yes you can catch him/her in silver.
At like levels 11,21,31,41,51,61,71,81,and 91 or something.

Dang, you are right. I should have looked at White Cat's Dex before posting this message...

Hmmm...then Smeargle CAN learn any attack it wants. Thats cool...even tho its stats suck, it can make good use of Amnesia or Barrier to help out its sucky stats...

That would be waste of space if you ask me, because you could easily baton pass to him and then he would have room for 4 moves.

Of course, this Smeargle would be used w/a Baton Passer, who passes on Amnesia and Agility

Question!

I have not tried raising a Smeargle yet...

How could you get Spore on him? Whatever used it on him'd put him to sleep, then he couldn't Sketch. By the time he woke up, it'd use another move, he couldn't Sketch it...unless of course Safeguard was used then switched to Smeargy?

What about Explosion too? You can only Sketch things from wild battles or non-link battles. If anything Exploded, either Smeargle would die because it's crappy, or whatever using it would die, probably ending the battle/making the opponent pick a new poké, wherein your Sketch wouldn't count?

I dun' understand.
