I am breeding my beloved umbreon with a ditto. While walking near the daycare, I saw the man standing outside. He said he haad an egg for. I said no to his question because I thought I wouldnt be able to get the egg without a free space in my lineup. He then said that something like he'll keep it (I could nt reset the game because I had leveled several pokemon before this up and hadn't saved). Now, if I leave my pokemon together, will they breed again, or do I have to take them out and put them back in? Also, how long does it take for them to breed? Does it depend on game time or steps. Finally, if I hatch the egg, will it be an Umbreon, or an eevee? I really need help!

You always get the lowest evolution when breeding. Also, it can take from 1,000 to 11,000 steps depending on what Pokemon is inside the egg.
